We achieved high casualties in our armor units, but the enemy units have also been weakened. If I remeber correctly enemy lost 2 Panthers and have only 2 King Tigers and 2 Panthers left in one comapny. Beside he may have about two companies of PzIV tanks and one Panther coy, and one StuG coy. We should try to secure town of Nyire....something and "rescue" our immobile T34. After that we shuld continue the attack

Short summary of turn 21-20 in T3A Sapper Assault By now 3 PzIV knocked out, few soldiers killed and flyboys hit something in woods (I've noticed smoke), propably truck. I'm trying to send more huns to hell! Our loses - one IS-2, and about 8 men

That was test game in planned operation. I was defending by the river. There were 3 fords. I block all of them with lot of trucks and dismount drivers. Enemy vehicles couldn't achive my bank. My opponent was very surprised by this "tactic" and after that we established "No blocking" house rule.

I congratulate the deserved victory. This is one of the most interesting AARs I've read. Thanks for your effort.

BTW that was PENETRATION hit from Panzerschreck.

SITREP T3A SAPPER ASSAULT 10:10 Comerades! I stretched my tanks in line and slowly advancing in the NW direction. Till now i have only small inf contact on the left flank - our scots was killed by hidden troops (who immediately run after that). Unfortunatly one of our mighty IS-2 tanks was destroyed by lucky PzIV... Our?/Enemy bombers make some attacks on my tanks but besides making a huge hole in grass they make no harm to our forces. The area is very pleated, which obscures field of viev and favors defenders. I cannot proper use of my gun and armor advantage. I don't have enough forces to secure my flanks - without proper infantry screen and scouting my loses will be high. I see no chance for victory in this battle. I reccomend: form a defensive line, wait for the flyboys to make some noise and then continue the attack (on responsibilty of high command) or withdraw. Please advice.
