If it's what I think you're talking about, it sounded to me like dirt/rocks being thrown up by the tracks and hitting the tank.
for light wheeled and tracked vehicles - added sounds of driving through the grass / paved (heavy and medium tracked vehicles are too heavy to hear it) for heavy vehicles, added various noises, creaking, etc.. - I think he was talking about here;)

Surprising result. I got old Mord voice files playing in slow motion!
Used iTunes conversion on "Mord's Vocal Mayhem Mod BASE" files. convert old voice mods to 48,000 kHz,16-bit, Stereo. Put ZZZ in front of sound folder inside Z folder.
Wonder what is up with that?
try changing to mono, the game uses only ambient sounds in stereo.

Your MAC HQS for CMSF sound great! Popped the headphones on and wow!
Cranked up the Logitech Z-5500-5.1 surround speakers and the dog ran downstairs and under the sofa! Lends a much appreciated freshness and presence to CMSF.
Can you recommended application for OS X 10.8.4 to convert old voice mods from 44,1 KHz vs. 48,0 KHz sample rate? I'd like to try my hand at converting some old CMSF voice mods to Mac compatible.

I do not know, I just changed Sampling and see it worked;)
I recommend iTunes, easily and very quickly you can change the audio format

nice mod mate...but why are you using sounds from my SFX mod without permission ? I want not complain,but ask me would have been ok !

I did it based on your mods, and it seemed to me that I replaced all the noise - which sounds? This will remove them.
if I used some of your sound by accident - of course I'm sorry for that.

Your sound mod does stick the CMSF player more in the intensity.
I am playing on a Mac. Sounds are great to me but I have not compared all your mod sounds to the stock sounds.
Any sampling issues 44,1 KHz vs. 48,0 KHz sample rate re:fully Mac compatible anyone has recognized?

Thanks for your mod ! I installed it yesterday and so far enjoy it very much !
But I found that it has an adverse effect to the graphical part of the game. Textures keep changing all the time. Maybe it's memory related ? I've got 4 Gb of RAM on my PC.
I was wondering if anybody else is experiencing a similar issue ?
Maybe it's drivers? similar effects (system crash / freez mouse) I had the latest driver from NVDIA - last completely stable is 306.23
ps. sometimes the game "cut" texture to save frame rate - for example, a shot of 2 cm Flakvierling 38 just kills texture;)

That is because the Mac version just allows for sounds with a 48,0 KHz samplerate. If the samplerate differs the Mac version will not play the according sound. Unfortunately the files for this outstanding soundmod are in 44,1 KHz.
if only this one problem, I can do a version for the Mac, wants someone?

There were problems with looping sound, because the changes are small, but significant

I love this sound mod!
The only critque I have is that the grenade sounds are very weak. Any chance you could give them more BOOM in a redux?
...I did notice that the explosions are labels A-1, A-2, A-3, B-1, B-2, ect. Do we choose the one we want for A, B, C ect. or will the game use a random choice each time?
Unfortunately, the game randomly chooses, and you can easily add / remove one or more sounds - the letters of the alphabet are more powerful explosions
a - grenades, 20mm, 30mm
b - 50mm mortar
c - 75mm
d ........
etc.
Of course, your comments will use the next version of mods;)

ps. Soon, sounds for Shock Force/Nato/Britsh/Marine (1-3 days) - 200/250 new high quality sounds - all guns(+reload)m256,2a46m,2a28, 2a38, l30charm ak74, ak47,m4, m16, mg3, l85a2,SWD, at4, rpg etc............, ambient, shell drops, vehicle loops (leo2,chalenger, wiesel,warrior.. etc.)
