There's a scenario in CMBN basegame involving 88s. 'A Delaying Action'. It involves two pairs of 88s. One pair placed on the roadway, immediately spotted and easily dealt with. The second pair (*spoiler alert*) is set back into a copse of trees in a keyhole position. Something of a nightmare to get LOF on and deal with. 88 is like any other weapon in the game, if you get overconfident in its abilities your opponent is going to hand you your head.
that was a awesome scenario MIkey D. Although the inclusion of the 57's for the Americans made me scared that panzers of some sort were coming to slap my ass.

This means that the save files are huge - and you´ll probably need some compression software if you´re going to edit your footage.
For that i would recommend that quick media converter. Very simple quick and easy.
BTW has anyone tried Dxtory? i've read its suppose to be the best but i havent tried it.

Here is how i have them it seems to work i'm not missing any of them in-game.
I believe the stock files start with smod_german_helmet-soldier then smod_german_helmet-solder 1 then so on. Always check for any errors in the naming ive wasted alot of time trying to figure out why some weren't showing to find i messed up in the naming or numbering.

Thanks guys i hope you enjoy them. Those are it for now i'll come back to them at a later date if someone hasn't released something better by then. I would like to improve upon them but i want to do other stuff for now.
In the mean time i'm going to be adding some more stahlhelms and someone has graciously offered to do the normal maps for all of them. I'm also going to do some splash screen/load screen mods similar to what i did for CMBN but probably much smaller in quantity.

A newer version has been uploaded to green as jades site. Honest feedback appreciated. Going back to some helmets that i forgot to release for now.

okay im going back and re coloring alot of the stuff that was in the first verison. most of the stuff i've added since i think matches more or less what you guys are talking about.

Well, tried it out in game, and it does sound a bit "light" compared to other weapons.
It should its one of the lightest weapons in the game.

"mp40" is not too quiet?
I dont think so , the new sound is a improvement imo.

Careful, those two pictures represent re-colored pieces..... the scratches have been Painted over for evaluation puroposes or to enhance the visual, that's not a true color. In fact the T-55 turret would rust in a week if left in the open without protecting the scratches with that paint...
I figured as much.

2nd from the top looks best to my ( totally ignorant ) eyes.
Top seems too shiny and bottom 2, too reddish.

Well, I´m afraid I know next to nothing about decals, so I really haven´t got a clue about which ones to use. I´d probably give the KT´s some that were only used for motorcycle units in North Africa.
But if you could send me some files with the right decals, I´d be happy to work them into the KT skins.
Personally i would suggest the emblem of schwere panzer-abteilung 505. Here are some examples... very cool logo imo.

They do have more of a crack to em dont they? Much better imo.

I havent layed thru all the scenarios or campaigns so i dont know if theres something encompassing this battle.... But is someone working on a Ogledow scenario? Something about this Ost Front debut for the Tiger II is very interesting to me.
