  1. Probably tried to rise their morale and combat spirit. This guy was born in Murmansk oblast, but military education gained in Kyiv. He refused to take an military oath to Ukraine in 1992 and departed to Russia. Judging on writings on the screen he was tough ideological USSR-follower.
  2. I wrote in the middle - the deputy of human resourses of Black Sea Fleet commander, captain of 1st rank (=colonel)
  3. Russian social networks confirmed next high-ranked deaths Colonel Sergey Savvateeyev, deputy commander of Rosgvardia SOBR special police detachment of Vladimir oblast. Killed 3rd of March near Kharkiv during the column strike. You should remember that huge column and police shields in the trucks. AAAANNNND... Drumrollll.. Deputy for human resourses of Black Sea Fleet commander, captain ot 1st rank (=colonel) Andrei Paliy
  4. Javelin launch at...something. Probably at the truck or armored car - the soldier cries "Yeah! Directly in the cabin!"
  5. They are just joking about future crisis and prices falling on the scrap metal market ) Probably first footage of destroyed Russian vehicles from Zaporizhzhia direction. Ukraianian troops hold positions in Vasylivka - Huliaypole area
  6. I want to add. There is time of massive invasion and Russian advance is finished. All 100 % and already even some more Russian troops entered in Ukraine. They stuck and turn to defense or conduct heavy assault actions or active probes around some cities. So, there is a time of large columnes is gone until no decisive advance. Only small groups of vehicles now on the road Several examples of ambushes of last days: Chernihiv oblast - abandoned BMP-2 and MTLB Night hunting of SOF results
  7. I regularly see the videos of small convoys ambushes, but I post here only most interesting things. One truck or lonely MTLB is not already such interesting, this is more routine work ) Though, the enemy really try to control the security of roads. For this they use either servicemen of rear units (for example, even musicizns of military orchestra) or mobilized LDPR conscripts. We really have a directive about "fog of war" - the results of some operations and clashes is issuing with 1-2-3 days delay.
  8. No, on the screen he is named "the colonel of Guard". I doubt why in this case he is battalion commander only. Either mistake, or misinformation for less resonance
  9. I was a NATO membership supporter even more than EU membership. But now I dissapointed in NATO, Turned out this is old scared bureaurocratic structure which can only fight in local conflicts with weak opponents like Libya, for example, but already not capable to withstand the own main opponent, for which it was created. Mainly not in military sence (though....), but in political. Not only because NATO officials scare "to escalate", but because Gemany, France, Italy - the countries, whose elites connected closely with Russian business (read "political elites") never allow Ukraine to be a member - neither NATO, and much likely EU. Many people here will tell me about NATO will fight in the case of Russian attack on Baltic states, but I say - I doubt. There is a good if Ukraine become a full EU member for now, but... "Old Europe" is under great influence of "left-progressive" ideology, which never be accepted in Eastern Europe, especially in traditionally conservative Poland and Ukraine. Contradictions inside EU between Westrn and Eastern Europe memebers will be grow, like and probably in EU part of NATO So, sooner or later we will need new military and political allince. UK+Poland+Baltic states+Ukraine ? Maybe.
  10. Part of Rssian Tochka-U, intercepted in Luhansk oblast. Our General Staff claims it was shot down with Stinger
  11. UKR BTR-4E1, probably hit by the tank gun. Looks like first days losses. Ukrainian weapons tracker account claims this is "presumably near Mariupol" but the snow clearly points on Kharkiv area,
  12. I havn't statictic, but can say like a Kyiv citizen - for all time of war from all missiles, launched on Kyiv and close vicinities (in average 2-4 +/- per a day) only several (3-5) breakthrough our AD shield. As I know most of them were cruise missiles.
  13. Despite Iskanders can have decoys, theses missiles can be intercepted. Parts of 9M723 missile, one of three, shot down yesterday in Vinnytsia oblast
  14. This was officially announced by general Gruzevich, one of the Kyiv defense HQ members. There is happend a situation, when the general spoke rather toungue-tied and the journalists interpreted his words like wished for reality. Indeed he meant Ukrainian forces stopped Russian advance NW from Kyiv on 70 km front. Later Zelenskiy has announced about 30 settlements were liberated, but I think indded this is whole number of whole Ukriane, not in Kyiv direction Though, Russians relally turned to defense. Already two days there is no artillery sounds around Kyiv. Today Russians shelled Makariv town in Kyiv oblast, which is holding by Ukr troops in semi-encirclement. PS. Ukrainian General Staff confirmed the strike in Deliatyn, but has no information either this was Kinzhal or othe rmissile. They reported about damages, domolishes and some ammunition detonations.
  15. Interesting, that local publics of Delyatyn never wrote about any huge explosions
  16. Russians hit with a missile (unclear which type) barracks of 79th air-assault brigade in Mykolaiv. Foreign journalists claim about at least 40 dead. There is many critic that unit commanders continue to deploy own personnel in the military unit buildings, which can be potential targets. In this case missile (or missules) were launched from Kherson vicinity and hadn't time to sound the alarm. IN previous days this caused heavy casualtied, like in Okhtyrka two weeks ago, when after Russian strike on buildings of engineer unit 70 servicemen were killed.
  17. Typically, our mech.infantry company can have 1-2 Archer thermal sights for PKM and 3-4 thermal cameras for surveilance + additionaly some NV devicse as civil volunteers aid. Air-assault units equipped with AN/PVS-14 NV devices and Archer thermals
  18. Hm... I can't recall this ) Judging on many abandoned/destroyed BRDM-2, the isthmus was defended by units of some motorized-infantry brigade (56th?) with some, probably 55th, artilelry brigade support (abandoned 2A65 near the bridge)
  19. Russian 58th CAA really had much experience and probably more smart command, but anyway Russians crossed the isthmus and occupied Kherson oblsat almost without seriuos resistance until reached Oleshki and Kherson, where we could delay them for several days. Though before a war there were many manuevers how we will repell Russian attack from Crimea. Smerch and Grads, artilelry strikes, tank counter-attacks with Su-25 support. Where was that all? Why territorial defense units didn't get the weapon?
  20. Ukr 10th mountain-assault brigade liberates some village in Kyiv oblast. I can't identify what exactly, this brigade hold positions approx on the administrative boudary of Kyiv and Zhytomyr oblast. There is no any info about warfare in that area except sevaral videos of 10th brigade without detalis. Local twttetrs write, as if Russians tried to cross Teterev river in Piskivka village in order to advance deeply west in Zhytomyr oblast, but about week of their attempts cost them many losses.
  21. This is Russians or separs. White bandages
