Operational Level Game Announcement
M1 Garand replied to choppinlt's topic in Combat Mission Battle for Normandy
From what I got from it is that The Bloody First will be like CC3 and Gateway to Caen will be like the recent ones. -
That's funny because I've played it both ways and got a draw because the British can easily hold out at either objective. Halftracks and JPz IVs can be taken out relatively easily, and the Force strength is 3 Platoons vs 2 Platoons which on a defensive in such an open area with PIATs, Bren Guns, and Enfield snipers covering with plenty of ammo in the jeeps in reserve is a well enough defense. Anyway's the research I had done said that a large force had been spotted by Dutch resistance, that force was later to be found to be KG Von Tetau. It's not supposed to be easy for the Brits, but the Germans still need to get across open ground, just sayin'...

Operational Level Game Announcement

So to put it simply, this works like how Close Combat has a Campaign/Operation mode? Just more in-depth? -
Have you Played both of my La Fiere Scenarios? or Amfreville? I have Battle of Son's map nearly halfway done, Would you like for me to hurry that up?
-
Hey, I believe that my La Fiere is the only one that was finished, with both sides of the causeway! Anyways, this is a interesting Scenario, I was actually thinking of doing this (or Azeville/Saint-Marcouf area.), but instead I turned towards making a certain Market Garden scenario (Hint: I asked about aerials for it awhile back). It's looking fine so far, the little things like flavor objects and building exteriors can go a long ways, don't be shy to use anything given to you to use. Looking forward to this, so don't disappoint!

Other Objectives should include the parameters, like enemy force percentage. For the Germans it is meant to be difficult and as the German commander you are meant to guess. Sometimes there will be Americans flanking on the North and South side, sometimes you will get a more straight on attack, I don't want to give it all away though. For the Americans, you kinda have to feel around where the Germans are with scouts.
-
No I released the scenario before 2.0 for 1.11 but, it is playable for both 1.11 and 2.0, make sure that the Amfreville.btt is the the scenario folder in game files. Thank you for downloading my map, I hope you enjoy it.

Repository Scenarios not working in new version.
M1 Garand replied to Nidan1's topic in Combat Mission Battle for Normandy
I have not experienced any problems with the new upgrade in any way. I would find it odd if there was one, maybe it's a conflicting mod/setup, or indeed a bad video card. -
I've uploaded Amfreville to the repository, no to tie you guys off 'til they accept it in, two more shots. The Beginning... ...The End Hope you all enjoy it, and to all a Merry Chrismanukkahwanzaa!

Does anyone know how to remedy the tactical map, operation map, and strategic map glitch where the picture is shifted?
-
It seems that taking the three tanks and separating their A.I. plans worked, since they all moved on the first test. I'll test it further tomorrow.
-
It's on a paved road and grass tile and the exit was after 0:00 / before 1:00
-
Now I have a problem: While testing I've noticed a American Sherman M4A1 tank not moving at all, even though that tank has an A.I. plan. I had it grouped with some men, then I gave the tank its own A.I. plan. Still the tank won't budge. Can anyone offer some help?

Amfreville... Coming Soon to a repository near you.
-
Don't worry folks, it will not be too long, I've been doing a lot of polishing and testing. Also, my new computer with Windows 7 won't allow me to do screenshots, so sorry for the lack of updates.

Tomorrow... three more shots.
