Hi, I just wanted to post thanks to BF's support staff for taking care of a problem I had. I closed the ticket before I had a chance to thank the one who helped. I have a laptop with a integrated and a gforce vid card. The gforce was not primary display device. The only prob was the texts in all menus, unit and game. The game prob wasn't playing all that great either. So this a a shoutout for BF and their support staff - Thanks again for great product and support.

I have a fully upgraded installed CMSF again - Thanks to you're link which I followed and had no problems.

This was a observation - I used the one instance to pose the question. I am playing from the same save and doing different things to try out different tactics. The question was in general - has anyone noticed the AT accuracy being deadlier than before this last patch. In that same situation tho I have 4 Tigers and they have been shot at and missed - restart the save and open fire with 4 HMG's in forest 1-2 squares back from 550-350m spaced out and they open fire and get hit first time fired upon. Infantry close to the other units in question have had the same result from being fired on from the AT guns after moving. CMFI in a GL sce I had same results from German AT guns. Going to do a CMBN to see if the same thing happens. Now before patch I have used AT guns and fought against AT guns with bad results against any infantry units. HMG's (not really using it for taking out the AT's) are effective at suppression to bring up small mortar or a spotter.

It's not a scenario- it's a campaign and yes there is 4 HMG's in the one for the Germans, and it's not frontally it's flank (just not defilade).

The Russian AT guns in Gog & Magog are kicking my heavy weapons platoon(s) butt. I have like tried to get 3 or more HMG's (~600m) and a gun (76mm Zis-3) was taking them out as soon as they opened fire. I then stop firing hide and the guns lose the MG's. Then go to using the arty and that seems to have lost its flavor since the patch as well. I am going to play over some old CMBN's see if I have similar results. Just my observations - not a complaint.

I could not remember where the DVD was - I just bought the core since it was on sale.

It took me a long time for things to really gel. All of the CMx2 series games do this - its like the ULTIMATE ie. as in closest to ASL as possible.

I am showing my age but why cant BF do the same thing they already did for TacOps to CMx2. TacOps not very graphic intensive but a number cruncher - was able to stream a list of orders of movement, SOP changes, & combat. Why cant this be brought into the CMx2 core game? If not the list of orders, but the SOP for all units?

Africa would be a nice expac for CMFI

I have done this but playing non-english speaking I'm not quite sure all the time when the spotting rounds are flying till after.

I have the old paradox copy (all inc patches from v1.02), I have purchased all of the modules after the original from battlefront. I'm not sure if I can locate the key for the DVD anymore. Is there anyway of not having to buy one all over - btw this is only because chris mentioned that CMSF might get upgraded to CMBS version. I have all the other keys (Brits, Marines, NATO) may I please get a good key to make this work I did pay for it once already

Playing now cause I really like the tigers - but would like the PzG's to have their due. None of the starting carriers have AT weapons.
