  2. hi xenon, thanks for this mod, do you plan more 19th century mods? maybe even the seven-years-war with a global map? hale rocket units was used until 1890's and congreve rocket units until 1840's or 1850's? mathias

  6. hi mike, only with the source code you can add mushroom clouds or yellow smoke for chemical wpns? contaminated tiles are also important (nuclear/chemical/biological). further wishes of my many wishes are chinese tunnel warfare/japanese cave warfare = very strong resistance and entrenchment, natural disasters (earthquakes, tsunamis, vulcano eruptions, floods) = effects on units, roads, tracks, towns...also human made floods like in the netherlands. is that possible? mathias
  7. hi mike, yes, the japanese sentoku subs are also on my units list e.g. the german u-511 and uss barb have used rockets/rocket thrower. but why no japanese gas arty, it was used against china. the new units have new graphics? but without animations for nuclear explosion and gas on the map? and subs firing on land units or send out planes from sentokus is not possible? mathias

  9. hello mcary, i'm so HAPPY that now a map is available WITH wmd's and naval mines, do you can also add rocket thrower subs and helicopters? both was also used in ww2...

  12. hi big al, 20 miles are about 30 km, i was not wrong with the size of tgw the 100 km hex/tile size in gc was a figure of bill/david, but the size is 5x greater? aod global map tile size is about 70 km, then is gc tile size 200 or 250 km? i mean the "old" size of gc gold and gc. and the max. fire range of 10 is the same? the ai is please much better in aod, for a good human player is the ai too bad. i prefer global maps, therefore i have a few interest in smaller maps. mathias
  13. hello hubert, more tiles = higher maximum weapons range? what size have a tile now? in gc about 100 km, in tgw about 30 km can i change the map into a smaller size, like the "old" gc size? and why a aoc, why not in one game both games or only aod? then the aod release would be earlier :-) mathias

  15. further improvements/adds are not possible? like more diplomatic options or more unit skills? and the ai is really better? i'll hope it so much... the netherlands are included, year!! still more countries like cuba, afghanistan, bolivia or saudi arabia? mathias
  16. hi bill, and which world war also not decided? or no world war? only smaller wars? that would be not good...the logical ww for sc3 is ww3/cold war :-)
  17. hi, some news about sc3, maybe a scww3? it is planned to add more new smaller wars to scww1 and scww2 in the future with add-ons? like boer war, mexican revolution war, chinese civil war, spanish civil war, vietnam war, korean war etc. and "war-in-war" wars like french-thai war or peruvian-ecuadorian war? mathias
  18. hello, aoc is a good idea, but without the operation unthinkable :-( is the planned attack on soviet union in july 1945 by churchill. with uk, usa, canada, german, polish forces and very interesting also the role of china and japan... mathias
  19. hi drunkenluftwaffe, i have ctgw, i prefer scww1. but ctgw have chemical arty, the only ww1 game i think, that have chem wpns...
  20. hello, i'm happy, 2 new expansions with new units :-) but again without chemical/nuclear weapons, rocket subs and naval mines :-( more country slots, 80 or 100 or more and more major countries, e.g. 10, not possible? i suggest also to add big natural disasters as events (vulcano eruptions, tsunamis, earthquakes, floods), more special unit skills, more special missions and indirect arty fire on several tiles. mathias
  21. yes, with chemical weapons and nuclear weapons, start in 1983 for example (able archer 83)...or in 1962 (cuban missile crisis) or 1969 (ussuri incident between china und soviet union) etc.

  24. hello, how can i change the "empty" paratroop icon in my ww1 game to an arty icon (for chemical arty)? and how can i "activate" the land attack option for submarines in my ww2 game (for rocket subs)? mathias
  25. my favorite war is ww2, then ww1, of course :-) the best is a super sc3 game with ww1, ww2 and ww3, from 1914 to 1960's!
