  1. Well I has a suprise yesterday, a PzIV poppod out of nowhere, on of my GIs launched a rifle grenade at it, penetrated and made the crew bail, the crew was destroyed, but that didnt stop the rest of my platoon launching some 6 bazooka rounds and the rest of its rifle grenades at its side armour. Still the panzer did not apear "knocked out", took a 75mm HEAT M8 HMC round to finish it off.

  2. Every airborne company seems to have quite the large HQ support team, which doesnt seem to have a radio.

ive used infantry weapons platoon hq support teams to be near the mortars to maintain C2, which I suppose is their use.

now, what would be the use of these company level hq support teams? are they the same as the infantry XO? should they be used the same way?

    Thank you.

  3. The announcements can get kinda hidden when you do not look at the actual game forum index page very often (which many people don't, they instead look at "Today's Posts" for example). But another good place to make sure you don't miss news is to visit www.battlefront.com once in a while ;) (you can subscribe to the newsfeed from the entire site here: http://www.battlefront.com/index.php?option=com_rss&feed=RSS2.0&no_html=1 )

(And there are also RSS feeds for individual games in each game's web area)

Or if you have Facebook, join (or "like") the BFC page, thats where I get all my news from.

  4. So armies, around the world, waste time and money teaching soldiers useless hand fighting skills for moral? Wouldn't vouchers to a whorehouse be cheaper? They teach it because they know it did, and still does, happen.

Doesnt take away the "you are prepared message"

things can have a double advantage.

  5. Are you sure about this one.

I could swear I was playing a game, had two crews abandon their tanks.

The one crew was gunned down moments later, the other hid in the woods. Their tank was destroyed. So I ran them to the emty tank after they had recovered. They were units from the same platoon.

But I will admit my memory plays tricks on me now days, so not sure, but without testing I would disagree with this at the moment.

Im sure its scripted that crews can only reman their own tanks, to avoid gamey behaviour.

must have chosen the right crew!
