First NATO screenshots are here!

You could perhaps add a few ammo pouches to the German soldiers, and give them desert tan boots, instead of black ones. -

Do you have any Turkish Army camo in your collection, Steve? -
"Splash, over." "Yeaah, okay... we got the splash."

Formations we might see in the initial Normandy release

I may have missed it, but will we have a German campaign eventually in the Western Front? Please say, yes. -
It would be good, if at the call of artillery / aviation support for Syria, to hear radio negotiations (BETTER CERTAINLY ON ARABIC), commenting what be going on, as if you played at US. Such radios negotiations help to be better oriented in that, what stage a process of call of support is on. Well, iirc, the manual says that in a realistic war scenario between the West and Syria, the Syrian air force will be completely annihilated and can only offer resistance for a very short time. I doubt we'll ever have RED Air Support. But yes, if we could have it, we would have surely heard it in Arabic.

Maybe the developers can put in an option that gives the player the ability to choose whether they want time-limits in a campaign/scenario/whatever or not. I hate rushing things too (which most of the time equals to casualties), and battles seem to end whenever they start to get fun.

Newbie scenario building question.

So you can't really get rid of the time limit in scenarios/campaign battles? -
Army and Marine ragtag uniforms?

Thanks for the replies. -
At cmmods there used to be different uniform combinations for American soldiers, but in the battlefront repository I can only find files for the Syrian army. Any idea where I can find them? Thanks in advance! B.

And there is also B1 Centauro the Tank Destroyer, no? -
Hey everyone, I just have a little question: having recently bought the marines module for CM:SF, I would like to swap some of the marine faces with the US Army ones from the "original" game. In other words, I don't want my troops to look like a clone army, so I want to make some of the Army soldiers have sunglasses (just like the ones in the marines module) and some of the marines don't wear them at all. Any idea how I can randomize soldier faces? Thanks in advance. B.

I believe they are about to make the game available for download any time soon. They are making the final adjustments to the installers to ensure that all different versions of CM:SF will be compatible with the Marines module. -
Enhancements to the visual interface > opinions ?

"4. Selectable ammo. If I want my squad to fire ONE javelin ONLY, I should be able to tell them that. Same with if I don't want them to use javelins. A commander has the ability to tell his men to hold off on the javelins or at4s if he so chooses." Target light, I think? -

Will the new units apply to the stock campaign of vanilla CM:SF as well? I am still trying to finish it (on Veteran), but will try it again on Elite. B. -
Me too, another newcomer.

Well, not wanting to sound like an imbecile, but I created a folder named Z myself and put the mod files there, but nothing seems to have changed (trying to use US Ragtag Uniforms mod). Help? EDIT: OK, I've solved it. Z has to be in the Data folder itself.
-
So if I want to uninstall any mods, I just delete the Z folder?
-
Oh, and when is the Marines module coming out? It is September already!

Hey all, I have been playing the game for a few weeks now (it is getting addictive and certainly feels refreshing after countless hours spent in the boots of various WW2 soldiers in every kind of 3d-battlefield imaginable) and I would like to use some of the mods from cmmods.com, but the Read Me files always say that I should locate the "Z" folder inside the main folder where my game is installed. Unfortunately, there isn't one. Is it because my CMSF is from GamersGate and not from Battlefront? Does the GamersGate version use a different folder? Thanks in advance, B.
