Same here, have version 1.11 but no Marines (Paradox-version). Game works otherwise but in campaigns in some point game crashes. Either directly to Windows (XP) or loading just freezes at 2%. Reloading does not help, campaign stops there. Of course I have latest drivers, tested even with older drivers etc. Whats really strange is that I had this problem since first release (never been able to play the campaing), and the problem persist even now when I have 100% new computer. Literally, all components are new. Current configuration is: Intel E8400 3.0 Dualcore 3 gb RAM Nvidia 8800 GT 512 XP Pro Previous was: Intel 2.6 2 gb RAM Nvidia 7600 So, what the heck is the problem? Lousy support for Nvidia or Intel?

Yea I realize that the problem was different, but I hijacked this thread. Instead of making a new thread about that error I had I decided to put that solution here too, in case it would help someone else.

After 1.07 my game didnt start, I just got error message ("A required security module can not be activated. This program can not be executed (6000)".) I contacted SecuROM support, send analyzed information and got response; "Please run your game in compatibility mode. In order to do that, please follow the steps below: - right click, with your mouse the CM SHOCK FORCE.exe file of your game - left click on properties - click on the Compatibility tab - mark the box called "Run this program in compatibility mode for" - select Windows 2000 - click on Apply - click on OK Please re-start the application." Game works fine after that. You may want to try that in case other means have failed. Im using XP, Nvidia-card and Intel Dualcore.

Been testing the scenario editor, and cant figure out how you can make Syria vs. Syria battles?

The tacAI sucks big time at the moment. Squads dont react when they get shoot at, even Hunt doesnt help every time. Last night I watched (I play turn based) squad using hunt command been slaughtered one by one. They didnt stop or return fire, I guess they didnt see the enemy. And sometimes they stop even they dont spot enemy, but some other team does. Anyway, squads not reacting when been fired upon is big problem, no matter what their orders are. I hope that will be fixex in future.

Anyone has the info about the patch, is it true that 1.02 savegames wont work anymore?

Well patch should be ready today (15th)? I installed it too, resulting that pathfinding is messed up and enemies can shoot through the walls. My men cant. Other than that game works fine (by fine I mean crashing after every battle and complaining about "wrong disc inserted")

I got that "insert the original disc"-message too, took the disc back to store, had to mail order new disc because it was sold out, and same message keeps appearing. Eventually I get the game running but after each battle game either freezes totally or crashes to Windows. "Funny" part is that that crashing started after I was played 6-7 missions of campaign. Now the campaign is totally unplayable, which kinda sucks big time. Installed the 1.02 Paradox patch today, no help. Starting to regret the money I spend.

I been playing this game for a bout a week now and had no problems. No the game started to crash after I finish a campaign mission. I have a save just before enemy surrenders, and every single time the mission ends game crashes. Sometimes it crashes straight to windsows, sometimes it just freezes. Any suggestions what may help? Playing a campaign is out of the question if I cant count that game will work. I have XP and GeForce 7600 GS, 1.5 gb ram.

I agree that its broken. Played a mission yesterday where engineers were suppose to find mines. They walk right past them and "Find mines"-action wasnt even available. When I drove a tank over that spot mine destroyd its tracks.
