19 minutes from the time the 1st email went out until there was a post on the forum.
My apologies for my fellow forumites, we know not what we do. What a tragedy. Thank you though sir, for the hardwork and time it took to produce this for us. Appreciate you'll.

Really, how hard is it? Can't keep it to yourself for 2 seconds?
Ty BF for all the hard work.

He certainly did.

Anyone know if that's an Alligator class LST, it looks similar. ISU 152's still in service in the early 80's? Did they just serve as Mech Arty or the traditional direct infantry support? Or both?

In some cases the end of the friendship.
Ah, I see. Well at that point some may question the quality of said friendship, for true friendship transcends time. But, I totally get your beef, the damn things been in the making forever, let's go already.

It's been more than a couple of years and Lille is dead on, the waiting has been and still is brutal.
What's a few years between friends?

That is why I havent gotten upset about the Fire & Rubble delay. You guys do what you have to do to stay in business but I have to say this long wait for the Fire & Rubble module is brutal.
It's only been a couple years, what's a couple more weeks? :)

Correct! That said, we're not going out of our way to advise people where to purchase CM games. People should buy from whichever sales platform they feel is the best fit. Obviously we'd prefer us to be the best fit, but no hard feelings if that's not quite right for someone
Steve
I prefer to buy from the source, I'm not sure of the financials involved if any from slitherine issuing a steam key but I will buy from you'll and get my key from slitherine if that remains the purchasing model. Hopefully it puts more money in you'lls pocket.

No cacti. That would have required the services of one very overworked 3-D artist. Someone suggested bringing in the palm trees from CMSF2 and I joked that would only be useful if you wanted to stage an attack on Palm Springs.
I've been to Palm Springs, I don't see the harm in attacking it.

Yeah, I played a few games of that with a friend connecting over LAN using a Hamachi server. What CM really needs on top of that is multiple players on each side or co-op so each can take care of their own formations. Frankly, I would pay for an engine upgrade that includes this.
I'm with you, the idea of this game being coop is kind of what drove me to buy it as it was a feature that was advertised around the 2007 shock force release that never came to fruition. Which was/is a bummer but there's still time. Now that BFC are doing some defense work maybe some of those features can get in the game.

You have no idea how much I want to change my avatar to this. But I'm not one of the 41.
There's an avatar for the fighting 41? Does it include hookers and blackjack?

The first batch of orders did not include their license keys. Those people had to receive theirs manually......by me......one.......at.......a........time. Those are the emails that went out yesterday. The release is still set for April.....but it won't be April 8th.
Bragging rights........If you received an email yesterday you were among the first 41 orders! The Fightin 41!!
All pre-orders will receive a download link in an email when the game is finished (that is mostly automated, thank goodness).
The fighting 41, thanks for the code Elvis.

It's a good time to be an eastern front fan, GG's WitE 2 just came out, currently waiting on that sweet sweet manual, and Fire and Rubble should be out "soon" tm.

*stubs out cigarette* "The waiting game it is". I got a good feeling about this one. Will it be worth the 3 year wait? I don't know, but at this point what's one more month?

Nah, that waiting its against Geneva Convention for sure...but I had thought of a great revenge...even if they release it today I will wait a month before installing it just to make them suffer as I am now...
Seconded, except I"m not doing it with you.

I'll get to those tomorrow...in the meantime I'm going to go read Warren's thread and the peanut gallery.
Pack your waders and be careful in there. Lot of feces flying around.

Just popping in to thank and congratulate the team on this wonderful modification. The setting is gripping. Well done to you all.

#3 Close the distance using the dead ground with overwatch, ez pz. How you break down the assault force vs. your over watch or base is entirely up to you, I would assume the T-64's and BMP's for cover and the T-62's to rush. Whichever you choose best of luck with it.

The problem you might have is finding enough time to give all the titles a proper try .

My personal opinion is CMFI is actually one of the best if not the best title right now. No pressure . Make sure you get GL and R2V as well.

No, that was me in my first CMSF play with AAVs stuffed full of Marines: I found out that the game engine has no limitations on how many red crosses it can display simultaneously. For that knowledge, I thank those Marines.
