  1. If that would happen I'd persuade you in no time, in case that's still necessary by then. For now let's leave it and focus on the proceedings in Ukraine.
  2. May you one day see the light, anyway have a good one enjoying your blissful ignorance
  3. Yours is obviously not clear. And indeed there was some time needed, but now everyone in Europe and beyond is seeing it clearly and acting on it. There's plenty of times we have disagreed ;-), but in this case 100% agreed.
  4. The irony is that you are making a large issue about someone who might lose his job because he doesn't speak out about the war (and it's not that he is dirt poor and needs those couple of EUR to feed his children). But on the other side of the coin are heavy Smerch MLRS cluster munitions targeting densely populated civilian area's, which you don't seem to have an issue with. I think what we're seeing in Europe is that all those who were looking at both sides of the coin, have now seen that one side favors aggressive war under false pretenses with megalomaniac claims about 'one people, one empire' while the other is defending their country against the aggression. Ukraine is a country with a lot of corruption among other issues, but that doesn't make them deserving of being invaded and occupied; they haven't invaded any parts of Russia so the talk about self defense / security is just simply BS. Your moral compass seems to have been lost long ago. If you feel for the orchestra director, send him some money. Ours will go to the Ukrainians defending their country against his dictator friend.
  5. Interesting, @Battlefront.com an explanation of the paint symbols.
  6. It was probably trying to predict this in more spectacular fashion
  7. Edit: not sure if authentic but saw multiple movies of MLRS attacks
  8. With Germany now agreeing to supply weapons (and so also opened airspace for it) / joint EU effort, I guess all weapons enroute to Ukraine can be flown directly to Rzeszow (PL), which is not even 200km from Lviv.

  10. LOL I don't make any decisions on this. This war started because Putin invaded Ukraine with the aim of demilitairizing Ukraine and 'denazifying' it's government. However you try to rationalize that into something reasonable is beyond my comprehension and I don't feel like debating that issue.
  11. Well let me state that I for one believe that Russian people are just like us, humans. Russian soldiers are soldiers, they don't get to ask why but do the do or die. And the West is certainly not holy. But for the last few pages you have been talking about how Ukraine shouldn't make things worse by continuing to resist or how fair Russia's proposal was. It doesn't matter anymore how fair the proposal was. Let's say today you punch out your wife's teeth, while she wasn't attacking you. The judge won't care that the day before you wrote such a good letter about how to share responsibilities.
  12. Your position here defending Russia's war of aggression looks like a religious dogma.
  13. That's looks like a 30story apartment complex, made out of concrete rebar, 5 floors are heavily damaged. It's not a small missile at least, I'm no expert so wouldn't know how big of a warhead that is. Kalibr is said to be 400-500KG HE.
  14. The rather BIG thing you are missing though is that starting a full scale war is not a way to continue negotiations.
  15. Lol, you are telling us that Ukrainian people should behave better against soldiers occupying their town?
  16. Nobody goes on empty stomachs. The more power to oligarchy/autocrats, the more hunger they have.
  17. It's always about the economy. But consider economy to be a separate thing from defense or politics at your peril.
  18. Maybe someone will find a couple of Abrams on ebay and feels like a vacation.
  19. Off your meds again? Please don't post such pictures.
  20. Peace at what cost though? Basically you are saying they should have accepted the demands of demilitarization and denazification before the invasion started. I don't really agree that it is a good analogue.
  21. Might be indeed, although I think that they made a wrong calculation.
  22. They are afraid Kiev could fall in 48 hours. Nobody knows for certain. Anyway there is pessimists and optimists. So far Ukraine has shown the will to fight and has shown it is able to cause casualties. Regarding civilians fighting, I don't think the idea is that a few civilian with AK and molotov are expected to fight in position against formation. But if truck is moving through street it can be shot with rifle, or lone AFV is moving / parked somewhere that is vulnerable to molotov. Such strikes are mostly important against morale.
  23. Similar nasty weapon I guess. TOS-1 was used in Iraq. Let's hope it doesn't go that far / nasty in Ukraine.
