  1. hehe: http://www.battlefront.com/community/showthread.php?t=48835&highlight=Italians
  2. The italian army performed very well in Tunisia specially under Generale Giovanni Messe (1st Italian Army), despite obsolete weapons and tanks. I can provide some excerpts of valuable books (not Liddle Hart) later if I've time. Until then, you can read this http://www.webcitation.org/5gVUvuBiC
  3. permission granted! Your mod is a must have for those who want a ToW more historically accurate!
  4. guys, you have to read a little bit more (and good books!), Italians fought very well after the first disasters, at Bir el Gobi, El Alamein, Enfidaville, sometime better than germans.
  5. Great mod! maybe are you playing in veteran difficulty level? The enemies are very accurate in that level! The most realistic difficulty level is the "regular" one.
  6. Currently, I'm working on a ToW2 soundmod...
  7. No progress for me, I'm very busy this week! I will work on it again next week!
  8. Thank you for the great tip, the ToW1 buildings now show correctly! (but I don't understand why some of them are destroyed... ) Regarding how i did for the Skycube, check your pm...
  9. In my opinion, Tow1 is just the draft and ToW2, the masterpiece! Yes, reskining and importing new units to ToW2, Knokke can do that. There's one snag left though, I did'nt figured how to limit the visibility for say, night or fog fightings, but I'll try to find. @Knokke: as for the treeshaders, I had the same idea, but it did'nt work!
  10. I just figured how to change the skycube!! The sky is just wip, too lightcoloured here! Now, I'll look for the tree shaders!
  11. La Fière in ToW2, still did'nt figured how to import the hier static.
  12. Of course, Lt. Col. Cole needs smoke shells for his bayonet charge on the cabbage patch!
  13. just speaking for myself, i'd prefer to bring what I've done to ToW2, if Knokke figured how to do it...
  14. awesome armor pack! I can't wait to play with them!
  15. so I tested your map/mission/static.ini pack and yes, it works fine! But I still think that my problem is not the static.ini, I guess that it is in the map... I'll try something! Je suis sur la bonne piste!
  16. thanks a lot Knokke, I'll test it tonight!
  17. yes Knokke, it may unjam my situation! Thanks!
  18. ok, I think I will give up, too difficult for me, without any help (there is nothing about statics in the manuals). Sorry guys, I just wanted to make this awesome building pack playable, maybe someone else will manage to do it.
  19. it is not a problem of static.ini writing, since I can see every building in ToW1 in the map editor and i have no problem to see them all in ToW2. Currently, I'm trying to understand how to work with the models and the meshtools.
  20. Knokke, with all mono.sim buidings...I tried different kinds of presets, none worked. I will try something else. Thanks
  21. Knokke, thank you for your help! Your way is the same as mine, but for some reason, it works for ToW2 with the snags you mentioned, but not in ToW1 for the mono type of statics. I thought it would be less time-consuming, it seems that i'll have to learn how to use the meshtools! The Kroll Oper will be at the correct place, the pic showed a work in progress state.
  22. Oudy, yes, I did. Some of them (mostly the complex ones with hier.him) do correctly show in the game... The bridges are ok. I suspect that something is missing in the mono.sim. Thanks!
  23. Most of these statics are for ToW only, but I managed to make the bridge usable for ToW2. No, infantry can 't enter the buildings.
