I give 3 1/2 stars. I loved it, to me it was very intuitive; I got it right away. I guess I'm used to these types of games?
Assign hot keys was easy. The easy of seting up hot keys the way I use other games is what I like.
Giving orders was easy.
Sniper needs work he gets spotted to easy.
The graphics on my system set all on and was smooth works great with ATI3870x2 crossfire mode.
intell 7600 cor duo vista 64 bit 8 gb of ram.
Can't wait for the release.
Thanks 1C and especially the old Il2 crew and Sneaksie.
and most of all Battlefront crew small u may be. But large on RTS gaming.

I tried these ideas on two different computers--still cant get the program to run on either. It looks like a good game, but I am wasting too much time trying to get past all the quirks and bugs. Any other ideas before I take it back to Best Buy?

its been down for 3 days as far as I know I was going to play on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday and the INTERNET server was down all those days.

Fixed it, unlicensed, uninstall fully then install from scratch. now it works.
For some reason the patch messed it up but after reinstalling and applying the patch fresh its a go.

Aslo the front end movies and splash dont come on I see only black but have sound.

ah ok I thought it was out already cause of the anoucment said aweek later for the demo 1.5.

After DL'ing the 1.5 and applying it I get License.dll error
Tried following the fix in the FAQ but it did not work.

Amazing benchmarks, I saw the Bench marks for that 3 way and wasn't impressed.
My bench marks from my Crossfire is almost the same as the 3 way.

"left click" option on ->CMSF unplayble .
"left click" option off -> CMFS playable, if all the options are "fastet" and "speed";That's because when click a unit (especially vehicles and sometimes soldiers) the program CMSF or Ati driver redesigns textures in the Game area.

Make sure Catalyst AI is running too. 7.11 works really better but I do have Crossfire set up.

thanks guys but the other guys working on it are probably catching bigger bugs than me I'm only finding minor stuff.I spend up to 6 hours playing ToW diffrent campaigns looking and enjoying the game play so far. Then I go into IL2 another favorite for 4 hours. Thats my day every day until I go back to my real job in about 2 months.
I and allot of you end users playing the game and editing are find a hell of allot more than me.
Keep up the good work guys.

I'm posting more on this Latest version of ToW.
Why you say or even if you care.
I feel BattelFront and 1C have gone above and beyond the support for this game.
As many of you may not know I'm a ToW beta tester.
This latest version that is coming out is off the hook, lots of improvements. I'm a lot more happy with it. I'm playing all the campaigns in Veteran mod and man I got to say Great work!
To the Beta team and to 1C thank you for our input and most of all to the community for your Help.
I would like to put out to BattelFront If you could please Buy the All Seeing Eye Multiplayer game search engine from Yahoo , there letting it go. It would be a great tool to allow for people to hook up for MP games and simpler.
I would love to see ToW somehow implemented in it and I think it would be a step up for BattelFront to get in involved in. And if you do Please include me in it. I have been gaming for 20 years and seen the game world grow from Commodore 64 just text game to Amiga to what we have now.
Thank you Matt and 1C for you hard work I know the game wasn't made just for me but I sure do appreciate all you have accomplished in it.

turn water off in the ToWsetup .exe and you should be fine.

Seem to not be able to assigne hot keys with shft+..; I have tried and it won't work.
