Why do the German crew still wear their headphones? Wouldn't they leave those with the tank? Has this been fixed in later builds?
Michael
I think it was standard practice in tanks that the crew were equipped with earphones with detachable wires on the headsets so the wire wouldn't get rapped around the tank crewman's neck when they bailed out.
Think I might have read that in "Tank Aces" 1 or 2 or "Armor Battles of the Waffen SS"
ISBN 0-8117-2905-2
On another note, the headsets in the screenies look very much like the one worn on by the guy on the right in the above book cover.
Game on.

I'll be getting a new PC in the summer, what PC specs do you guys recommend I should look for so I can play CMBN in all it's glory ?
-
I used to subscribe to PC GAMER magazine and found the CMBB demo on one of the discs. The rest as they say is history.
-
Great AAR chaps. A quick question about map editing, how do the flavour objects in CMBN differ from those in CMSF ? Obviously the "ATM" and "Aircon" aren't in. I know there is "hay stacks" and "carts" just wondering if there was abandoned cars etc..

Frankly Im drooling soo much, I cant wait for my copy, so I went back and started watching all my DVD's of "A World at War"...again...
Good call, I should dust them off too. May I suggest the Battlefield DVD series.
-
Will you tube guy be in it ?
-
..... But CMBN hold higher promise (jeez how could it not!) One thing is certain, when the game finally gets into the players hands BFC will be listening intently.
BFC always does, doesn't it ?
-
Cheers thanks.
-
Will there be air assets in CMBN ?
-
I was just having a look through the TO&E section on the CM:BN page for the frist time and was shocked that there was no Brits listed, and I half expected French partisans to be there as well.
-
I'm so looking forward to all of this.
My last girlfriend left because of CMx1, I'm serious. My current one will give me the elbow when this one comes out.
Hrmmm.....I'm 35 now, when CM:BN comes out in the next year or so, I might not be married until I'm 40.
-
Happy days ahead then:)
-
Does battlefront have plans to do a CMBB game with the CMx2 game engine ?
Secondly, with the aborted attempt of Combat Mission Campaigns had Battlefront planned to make CMx2 game engine compatible with work done with the software of said project or has that dream been torpedoed for good ?
-
Nevermind I'll use McMMM instead.
-
As the title reads, is CMMOS program still available to download any where ?
-
Thanks very much.
-
Could let us know how you did it please.
-
I made the map hex by hex hand and used old maps from WWII and I also used Google Earth to get the real elevations and LOS.
Jonas
That's impressive !
