I guess a dev or some-one has been following this board for awhile could help me with a few questions. 1. How many maps will there be MP and SP? 2. Whats types of terrain is there apart from the usually...like trees and roads. Will there be marshes? bogs? desert sands? 3. Are the maps for MP different to SP..usually games recycle there SP maps for MP..that would kinda suck. Hopefully the devs have considered the dynamics in MP and have designed the maps accordingly. ------------------ It is horrifying that we have to fight our own government to save the environment. Ok i was think about MP and i thought about teamwork and the use of tactics. I understand some pl use skype or TS to communicate during a game but there are others who dont. Ok my point is: * Would it be useful to have a screen that opens (like a lobby screen ) for the player(s) on YOUR side to have a quick chat before the battle begins. * U could even have a map to place markers on with info attached to it. E.G Megakill you are going to flank right and occupy this Farmhouse. * Time limit for this tac meeting e.g 2-5min max This is just a raw thought...and i welcome criticism, and im sure others could improve this idea. Just trying to add something that could help it become more team orienatated in MP ..and lets face it we will often team up with people we dont know and those who we might we still may not use skype or TS. ------------------------ Trust men and they will be true to you; treat them greatly, and they will show themselves great. Ok i hear people say pause ...no pause To pause or not to pause that is the question right? Ive been thinking ( i know scary ) but if you want pause in SP thats ok i dont give a flying F#$K what you do in your own home..and who cares. Multiplayer is a whole different problem. I dont want to sit around and wait until people survey the sitution and ponder...you might as well play by e-mail...cmon thats just dowm right boring. Multiplayer should be engrossing, challenging and exciting...i dont want a tea and biscuit while i play...F#$K i might as well play scrabble. How long will it take for the good players to work out the AI or to give it a thrashing once you become good at it????? Sooner or later. Multiplayer is a strong reason why lots of games that are ok survive for long periods ...look at the FPS games. A pause button would destroy multiplayer as i see it. Having 4 the limit might do it anyway...but imagine if they released it as say total of 8...imagine the wait when we are all pausing away...painful as queing up at the bank. -------------------------- I do not fear computers. OK LISTEN UP !! If you need a pause button to make tactiacal and strategic decisions then really you need to go and buy a board game or go and play civ4. This is a tactical game..its not sit and ponder my next move. By putting a pause button in you are destroying the unpredictability and the feeling being totally in the moment. I DONT WANT TO SIT AND WAIT FOR COLONEL KLINK TO MAKE UP HIS MIND AFTER HE REALISES HOGAN HAS BEEN HIDING THE RADIO IN THE TEAPOT!!!!!! Those that want a pause button..do any of you guys play online? probably not because if you have 4 people pausing during their turns what do think the game turns into?... A BOARD GAME . I hear people moaning about it being a click fest..well if you have followed the game development this does not seem so. It will not be like c&c were you have tens of units wondering around..you have a certain amount of structure in TOW to play with. well ladies the pause button is there if you cant think quick enough. I know some of you guys are used to playing turn based games...but do you think a pause button is more realistic or unrealistic? Question 1.Just wondering wether how much detail has been put in to the speeds of the vechicles and turret rotations. Will speeds apply to the type of tank to the different terrain. Questions 2. Can you store equipment inside the tanks or vechiles etc? Question 3. Will different tanks store different amounts of ammunition? Question 4. Can the tanks be camouflaged. Question 5. Is there a list which shows the list of Vechiles / tanks in the game?
