  1. I have the russian version too and sorry to say this but the sounds are verry verry crap. Game musik is terrible and must be switched off on the first 30 secunds. For example the firing sound of 122mm russian canon of JS2 is like a air pump. All sounds are to verry undertoned and not sophisticated enough. I hope i or anyone else can make a cinema sound modifikation during the fist days of delivery. Or have BF changed the entire sounds compared to the russian version?

I can do that for you in html code! It no problem! But it must be hosted by Battlefront to get all MP people in.

  5. I think the "Scheunentor" has power enough... This masterpice of german anti tank weapon make nice holes in T34 and Stalin tanks... I love pak43...
  6. my video card is a Radeon X1950 Pro with 512MB Ram. My System RAM are Cellshock 4x1GB on dual channel running at 250MHz (DDR500). I can run "Oblivion" with all setting between 75-85 frames per seconds... There is no limits on my system
  7. Hast du die russische Version getestet? Ich will auch nicht Sust2 mit TOW vergleichen, ich will nur ein grafisch ansprechendes WK2 RTS Spiel haben, welches ein wenig mehr Realismus hat als der ganze Panzer´s Kram. Kann mir auch beim besten Willen nicht vorstellen das die MUltiplayergefechte nur 10min dauern.
  8. How about overclocked pentium-m? I have a P-M 780 2,26 Ghz on a sockel 478 Asus P4C800 deluxe bord with that 479er adapter running at 3,0 Ghz. I dont know exactly, but i think no AMD 64 can bet my pentium-m. I dont see AMD´s in benchmark tabels...
  9. Ach ne, der martin kann auch unsere Sprache... wußte ich garnicht. Ich hab es natürlich selbsverständlich auch vorbestellt, gleich 2 mal. Eins für mich und eins fürn Teamspeakkumpel der keine Creditkarte hat. Ich setze alle Hoffungen in das Game seit der Zeit von Suddenstrike2 mit RWM mod, und SOldiers mit SOE-RWM mod. Ich würd mich so freuen, mal wieder am Abend schicke 1-1,5 Stunden lange Multiplayerspiele zumachen. Das vermisse ich so. Dieser Arcardemist der so am Markt erscheint ala´Panzers/COH/FOW etc. ist echt nicht mehr zu genießen... Ich bin sehr gespannt, was ihr da gemacht habt Martin!!!

  13. WTF... I hit the "klick here to pre order" 30x times... I get following ansfer "The QuikStore script could not obtain a Random Cart ID Number. Please hit your reload/refresh to try again." How many times i must hit or refresh? Thats not funny? PLEASE give me a quick reply...
  14. If you want more realistic FPS? Try Red Orchestra Ostfront. Tank combat is also availble in RO. But it is ararde fun, with nice bouncing effect on T34 and Tiger. No realistic damage and penetration values. Its based on hitpoints from the unreal2 engine... But infantry fights are nice and realistic as well...

  16. I have a Pentium M 780 (2,26 Ghz) @ 3,0 Ghz overclocked on a watercooled system. DDR1 PC4000 Ram running on DDR500 speed (250MHz), with a Radeon X1950 Pro 512MB. All parts are watercooled. System is an old AGP-System, but running faster then all new AMD CPUs (incl.64bit CPUs). Only top range Core2 and QuadCore CPU are a little bit faster. I think i will have no problem with TOW

  18. The most hated feature in CM is that round - system. In reality you dont have time push any pause buttons or round ready buttons. Reality is fast and mercilessly... I wish it gives a CM 4 without round based feature, i has thought that wartime command is similarly to a sequel of CM. But now i know is it not..

  21. Ähm not realy... i am explain it for you, no problem: 1.) Amor in FOW will classified in three different classes of armor. Light, Medium and heavy. Look at this code from FOW demo: (define "armor_light" ("armor_tank" t(50) ta(30) b(100) tur(150) (define "armor_medium" ("armor_tank" t(130) ta(40) b(350) tur(500) (define "armor_heavy" ("armor_tank" t(250) ta(50) b(500) tur(800) Here you can see the hitpoint reservoirs for all tanks. tur=turret b=body/hull ta=tracks etc. 2.) Now we take a look on the guns in game. Here is a code from FOW demo (resource/set/stuff/gun): {from "pattern gun" ; Pz-6 "Tiger", Pz-6e {filling "bullet88"} {fireSound "gun/88mm"} {rechargeTime 4.5} ("range_100+") {projectiveDamage 250} } That implies that a 88gun makes in game a damage of 250 points. (see at the "projectiveDamage") 3.)To compare with the old Soldier - Heroes of World War2 predecessor some code from the same directory: {weapon "88mm_kwk43" from "gun" ; Pz-6"King Tiger" {fireSound "heavy_shot.88mm"} {aimRange 140} ; m {maxRange 80} ; m {minRange 6} ; m {spreading {SpreadRadius 3.5}} ; m {rechargeTime 6} ; s {speed 220} ; m/s {piercing 10 200 40 120 150 0} (mod "mp" {maxRange} ; m {piercing 10 200 40 120 150 0} ) } Now anybody can see there are a penetration system (see at the "piercing" values) in SHOWW2. And the and we can say that the old penetration system is missing and the new hitpoint system is at the same spot. Sure that is a value inside the game to define that a MG42 can not make damage on a sherman or a bullet from a pistol make no damage on a SDkfZ 222, but you can shot with a 37mm KwK on the front amor hull plate from a Tiger1 and destroy it. It takes 12-16 hit´s, but it works belive me it is a hitpont system inside...
  22. Sorry to say that,but in the demo is definitely a hitpoint system. You refuse to believe it,watch that thread in ubi soft forum and see what happend: forums.ubi.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/3001055373/m/7541074664/p/1 Scroll down and you will see that every tank has a hitpoint reservoir and every cannon make damage points.   23. Faces of War is totaly arcarde. It makes fun for 5 minutes and then it makes frustration. They changed the loved penetration system from the predecessor (SHOWW2) to a hitpoint system in Faces of War. Faces of War is a PANZER´s clone with better optics... I set all my expectation on your TOW project...
