How would i add Manchester for victory conditions in Grand Strategic Game? i.e. for Major German Victory. As it is now u only have to take London to end the game after taking Russia i.e..

I can't find elite reinforcments on the editor. You can do this editing for sc1.

Would like to mod kursk. My idea is to increase experience pts to how many medals a unit has instead of the number 10 which is consistant on all the units in the game. How do i do this? For example: their are 4 colored medals for GD PZG yet it shows only 10. how do i make this unit show 14? Alot of Soviet Tank Divs, or Corps have One colored medal, meaning i would change their unit to show 11 on the map.

Concerning North Africa, The Bomber at the top,I can't seem to use it or move it, Any tips? Also when playing the Grand Strategic game, I had taken France, Russia, Egypt and London, but not as yet taken manchester, yet the program gave me an Axis Major Victory. I had alot of high quality units in Great Britian and it was 1945. Can strength alone conquer Countries? Had time expired? Does the new manual address timeframes? I only saw 1947 in this manual.

If a german unit finds itself in an italian owned tile will supply be the same as a german owned tile?

Well i copied the intro sound file from SC1 to the sound file folder in SC2 and now the game works just fine. Yippie Kiahh !!!!

The final size was 115.08MB. By the way i forgot to tell you that when i was installing the game errors kept poping up with three options: abort installation, retry, or skip.. I had to skip about ten times...Could not retry.. I fear I will have to download again...shoot!!!

Game will not run. Error message says: Could not find sound\intro wave!!! I used dial-up and it probably is corrupted...Any way around this error or will i have to download again which i fear!!

I don't know where I read it or for that matter if i read it but I thought some time back the tiles were to be 25 miles instead of 50 miles as the manual says! An added feature could have been to put a number of troops in units or/and number of tanks, planes, etc. I think there was only one strategic computer wargame that had that feature. I can't remember the game though. I guess i could do a mod of 25 miles per tile if i had some ambition. Any way good job hubert!!

This will probably be the best wargame ever made at the Stratigic level. Just think, you could be Napoleon, Alexander, Gen Lee, the possibilitys are endless. It should be well worth the wait!!

Now that I think about it a little more The Computer show in Boston might have been in 1982.

One of my favorite old games was GUADALCANAL CAMPAIGN by Gary Grigsby. Poor Graphics but a thinking man's game. Too bad u couldn't play the Japanese! Around 1981 I bought my first computer, an ATARI 400 at a computer show in Boston MA. I also bought BATTLES FOR NORMANDY there also. Was anyone there? I think it was late summer or fall of that year!

What was you first Computer Wargame? Mine was EASTERN FRONT by ATARI!! This game was released in 1980 or 1981 I think! It's been so long i can't remember. Can anyone beat that?
