  1. I walked my infantry (scout Teams and snipers) all over the Map.

For a game which is about tactics I ask myself why someone would want to tell

me which forces to use for a given task. In germany we dont do things this way! You are given the objective and it is up to you to decide how to best accomplish your mission. This is by the way exactly german forces functioned during the second world war. (And think about the thunder run in Baghdad, would this have met TOWs victory conditions?)

Your objective is to secure the village. You can attack it in any way you see fit, but i doubt that your superiors would consider it secured if there are not even a single German soldier inside, only tanks on the street. Again, you are not forced to attack with infantry, you may use it later just to occupy the village.

  2. For ambushes to work, spotting is not the same in both directions, it depends on where the obstruction is between yours and an enemy unit. If a unit is positioned close behind (several meters, this zone is different for various unit types) a vegetation cover, it sees through it. On the other hand, an enemy unit from far away can't see it behind the cover.

  3. Thanks for the answer, Sneaksie

Too bad it can't be used for deployment areas and minefields too. Is there a chance to see this possibility in a later patch, or is it technically unfeasable? or at least, the possibility to have a RECT be given a rotation angle like the ZONE?

    Maybe...

I don't really get this one: does it means that for now, using this parameter will substitute only corpses, unless the ressources for african infantry are added to the game? At least, its good to know this possibility exist (it seems the intention is to make it possible to create battles for other theater of war in the game engine, and I really see the interest of adding compatibility).

No, there is the special code that replenishes squads and crews after the battle with new men. Setting this parameter to Africa1943 would mean that these new people will have African uniforms instead of ordinary ones (but there are no african models in Kursk now, so this will result either in crash or nothing).

And what about this Novoslobodskaya_2009 setting? why a Moscow metro station? must be unrelated though... :)

Our office is located near this metro station:) It was the test setting.

  4. It's not that hard. Choose a eastern or western route, take a Tiger(s) and KO all the digged in T-34 it sees (if it doesn't see the targets, come closer or rotate the turret in their direction). Even if they are not destroyed completely, a hit into turret most likely will disable the gun and/or kill the gunner and loader. Then advance with other forces. Artllery helps you to come closer by laying smoke screens on suspected enemy positions.

  5. It's mentioned nowhere because it's unfinished:) It should work with GetNUnitsInArea only.

Raid parameter specifies, well, theatre of war :) If you set it to DefaultCrewSet_Africa43, killed German crew and squad members will be replaced by new ones in African uniform instead of Kursk uniform. This was implemented for adding the units from Africa 1943 to Kursk. There are no African models in Kursk in the moment.

  6. I'm still can install the update. Where is the update button ingame?

When I launch autoupdater It says I need to install a version of the .NET framework to launch to autoupdate. huh?? I'm very confused

There is no update button ingame, it's in the autoupdater. You can download the framework from the Microsoft site (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=AB99342F-5D1A-413D-8319-81DA479AB0D7&displaylang=en).
