New video up by Perun, interesting as always:
I wonder what the morale is like in the ”new republics” after watching this. Is their Russian nationalism waning?
Re Russia scraping the bottom of the barrel; the 40 year old cap on contract soldiers has been removed and even more units are pulled from Syria. Last leg?
Feels like a morale boost piece. Oryx has not even 40 confirmed aircraft downed, and many likely from MANPADs, so that one pilot would have 40 kills just seems unlikely. Nice story though.
Someone posted some great artwork in the "How hot is Ukraine gonna get"-thread and I decided to make a menu mod from one.
Not in line with the game timeline, but I've seen some "Z"-mods around so maybe not that wrong after all. In the spirit of "Glory to Ukraine".
Get it from link below for now and maybe @Bootie can put it up on CMMODS.

Yesterday, Sweden’s major left newspaper, Aftonbladet, changed their official stance to pro NATO. Pretty good indicator on what we’ll end up doing. Now feels more like an issue of WHEN we apply for membership then IF.
My question is not as much ”how many tanks do they still have”, but rather ”how many well-trained tank crews worth their salt do they have in reserve”? Probable answer: crap tanks and crap crews.

I wonder if this new kind of warfare would benefit for even more mobile artillery systems like the Archer, to further expand the capability of taking out high value targets across a larger area of operations. Roaming around in the ”backfield” and called upon by whichever unit that needs its services.
The NLAW has a direct attack mode and according to SAAB ( https://www.saab.com/products/nlaw ) it can be fired from a second story building without problem. Maybe the one fired in the video wasn’t set right.
We have already sent 5000 AT4 to Ukraine and another 5000 are on their way. It has also been suggested by one party that we should send the decomissioned stock of Carl Gustaf recoiless rifles, but no decision yet.
