Its broken in the beginning of the campaign, along with most everything else.

Just as an update. My game is still working perfectly after I quit O/clocking my cpu. I have finished one campaign freeze free, and have started another to better my score.

You said it tarball.

The only difference I see in your physical system and mine is the 3d card. Have you tried sticking in a different one just for laughs?

Jura, You arent overclocking your cpu are you? I was and stopped. Now no more freezing or errors.

I used to have a geoforce fx5600. That card sucked. I am done with geoforce cards.

I dont have a clue what the cause is. I went thru each and every setting, changing, playing, crashing. Over and over. The grass turned off worked ok for about two missions then it would crash again. The I thought it was hte 32 bit color causing it, because I could play for quite awhile before it crashed, BUT it did finally crash. And after the first crash it would crash consistently. When I cranked my clock back down on my CPU, no more crashing period. So far anyway. I have high detail turned on , Grass and everything. 1024x768 32bit I wish I could help you other folks. Ok since I posted last, I have gotten some more freezes. I decided today to stop overclocking the cpu to see if it would make a difference, and It seems I have found the culprit. Overclocking!!! I have had no freezing after taking my time in 4 missions. After 5 hours of continuous play. Wierd since no other programs crash because of this.

Last night I played continuously for 3 hours without a crash or freeze. I even had the grass turned on, and everything on high detail. 1024x768 32bit. I believe the backbuffer mode to be the culprit, at least on my system. "X8R8G8B8" When it is set to that, I get crashes. Now I leave it at"R5G6B5". I hope this helps someone.

I have played this sim with hardware sound, and without it. That didnt stop the freezing. I tryed turning the grass off, and I get thru more missions without crashing.

I hate rpg guys. They reload like there lifes depend on it dont they?

I think 72BoF is a start of something new in the Armored warfare area in simulations. Some say the graphics arent as good as they believe they should be. Look at Steel Beast, nasty software 3d enviroment. It is not good because of the graphics, but because of the Simulation. T72BoF has great potential. Just needs some tlc.

Got my game today. The number 1 cd has a little imperfection so it took a couple of times, but finally got it to install. cant wait to play it.

"Soldner" has both deformable terrain, and destructable buildings. Although in my personal opinion the game sux.

Yeah I'm not too worried about graphics when runnin and gunnin against 50 or so tanks in Steel Beast. what a rush

oops my bad...forgot about that post. I love the game. I am expecting it anyday now and Battlefront has my money. I just wish the English demo had all the great missions the Russian one does. Also I would like to have just one mission That has a "war going on" feeling included in a TANK demo. Remember The Steel Beast demo? It really gave you a feeling of what the simulation was capable of. Anyway sorry bout the screwup, but I feel the English demo in its current form is Worthless bunk, compared to the russian content. The English demo just showed me that the current code Would work smoothly on my system. So I bought the game.

I didnt mean to piss you off moon. I was just recognizing the fact that the russian demo has more content. I never said "garbage", or "Worthless". You did.

I have no problems here either. The demo runs alot better after going from 5.6 to 5.7 cats.
