  1. Ok.Thanks for your answers.
  2. ...is it possible to slightly lower it when you have pressed the 'Enter' key and are fixed onto a single individual. It always seems to me that the person you are fixed on to must be about 3 metres tall.
  3. Great work Oudy!!!!
  4. Has anyone come up with some sort of maybe partial fix for this problem until the patch comes out?It spoils it for me a bit being unable to load saved games without a high risk of CTDs.
  5. War Raven, yes I have all of the tutorials that Webwing posted and I have seen the first two and followed his advice in them and as far as I know I 'm doing exactly what he said.Perhaps there's more on detachment units and detachment placeholders in his other tutorials .I'll check them out. Thanks for your answer. Bruce.
  6. In the Mission Editor I find I'm having a problem linking detachment units to detachment placeholders.I put in a unit then a detachment placeholder and so on but when I open the game I discover that some of the units have somehow swapped placeholders and are not where I want them.Anyone else found this or am I doing something wrong?

    Groups?

Yes ok that works but there must be a limit to what you can group. It doesn't seem possible for instance to group together 3 complete infantry detachments.

    Groups?

Thanks to you both for your answers and FinnN I really like the sound of the mod you are working on as personally I prefer playing smaller unit actions.

    Groups?

I don't seem to understand the 'Group' idea.Apart from drawing the box around units and combining them that way how else is it done? How does the group commands in the Controls part of the Options section work.I've looked through the printed manual and the disc one and done a search here but I haven't found any thing relevant as far as I can see.Could anyone point me in the right direction please?
  11. If that Irish warehouse had been running the original WWII it would probably have been the 1989-1995 War.
  12. No.The worst thing you can do is beat us at Rugby.
  13. NORMAL DUDE!!!!!We are as English as you are Canadian or Mexican.
  14. Actually this post came back to bite me.In preparation for ToW and in an insane moment I decided to clean up my hard drive a bit.So I deleted a few programs and thought'well I don't need CMBB or CMAK anyway at least for a while'so away they went. When it became obvious that we poor souls in Western Europe were not going to get the DVD ToW version soon, I decided to reinstall them both not realising or remembering that since that last time I'd installed them I had bought a flat screen monitor. To my horror when I went to play CMBB last Saturday afternoon all I got on my screen was a message saying 'Input not Supported'.That was the weekend from hell!I did nothing else with the computer except try every thing I know(which isn't much) to sort out the problem.Thankfully on Monday Schrullenhaft over on the Tech Support of this Forum advised me on what to do and now all is well again. My wife has come home from her Fathers' house, the dog has crawled out from behind the sofa and I'm going to church regularly to keep my promise to God.
  15. Schrullenhaft. Thanks for your help and you were spot on.I let the screen run for 4 minutes and I then got a resolution I could use.Once again thank you.
  16. I've been working on this problem through the weekend and apparently it's a problem between the game loading and my LCD monitor although why it has suddenly reared it's ugly head I don't know.I have been messing with the graphics trying for the best set up for TOW and I suppose I've altered something that's now affecting CMBB and CMAK.I have gone about as far as I can with my limited knowledge of computers so if anyone can suggest anything I can try I will be very grateful.
  17. I have just reinstalled CMBB on this computer which has run it before with no problems. Now after installation I get the loading screen and then a black screen with the message "Input Not Supported".As far as I know the only thing different with the setup is a later version of DirectX and .Net.Any suggestions please? 18. Phew! Glad to read crazymans' post.I've been away in Prague for a few days and when mine wasn't here when I got home I thought I was probably the only one.
  19. I've just been checking out the Screenshots post. Some of those shots are so realistic they're almost photographic quality.Graphics wise this game looks better than CM2.A few patches and we won't need a WW II module in that game.
  20. At the moment the sheer spectacle of it.All other problems with gameplay etc. will be fixed I'm sure.Even the game editor which I thought might be a problem for my enjoyment of the game is almost as good as it needs to be at least for me personally.
