  1. UK surrenders if you take Manchester simultaneously with London -I think this was brought up before the 1.01 patch.
  2. This is an excellent mod except for the map arrangement - difficult to keep track of diffrent theaters. I have tried playing your mod but the map arrangement is a big distraction and deterrent for me to continue. Good work though!
  3. reinstall of patch solved it. Thanks.
  4. I already had a separate campaign that saved before with its' own folder. Something happened when I was editing it that it actually corrupted the original 39WW2 scenario files. I broke the editor. It is not a simple solution as you suggest unfortunately.
  5. I was editing a custom WW2.cgn (separate file from the 39 WW2) and lo and behold- I found the Chinese as the axis overlords and the same with my 39 original file which I thought was copy protected.
  6. Nupremal -your world map is great with events and media. Do you have any plans for gold?
  7. I do think the majority of players on this thread know how to use carriers, it is the game mechanic that I am concerned that naval units can just uber blitz without carrier detection.
  8. It happens in random. The thing if you go to the reinforcement screen or upgrade, that then happens.
  9. I think this happened before when I mentioned the rockets before- will double-double check on this again.
  10. When you highlight a unit (that has not moved yet) and then do nothing with it and re-highlight again and again do nothing, the unit is not moveable afterwards. Am I just imagining this?
  11. CVs are nerfed right now for their search range, which I find puzzling given the range of ships (w/c can uber blitz and be faster in theory than the CV's airwings). As to escorts, typically against targets with no aircover, planes are loaded with torpedoes/bombs and not for air fighting. You need air cover from another CV for your aircover in this game. BBs, CAs, DDs were no match for CVs and in the present form this is not the case.
  12. There should be a built in pre-emptive airstrike once a BB, CA, or DD comes into range - but the carrier should be in tactical naval mode. (not unlike artillery giving support fire to a land unit being attacked by another land unit)
  13. The movement is increased but the indicator is not there. Do not have the saved turn for this.
  14. This looks like a bunch of GIs marching along the raod and the lead soldier on the left side has a submachine gun which appears to a German MP-40 instead of a Thompson SMG.
  15. Second the motion- this reflects the KM's concentration on submarine production as it was historically.
  16. The rock could not hold out against a determined assault and the UK carriers could not even provide support because of German tac air.
  17. That's why it is important for the UK-French fleet to cripple the Italian fleet before France folds- If the Allies do not do this, they face the consequence of a Spanish strategy and taking Gibraltar and uniting the German-Italian fleets which would be impossible for the UK alone to handle.
  18. Minors' amphibs do not upgrade to their major power amphib tech level.
  19. That was how the sub warfare was in the Atlantic in the early parts of WW2.
  20. Marc, What were the main critical moments that you think might have made a difference? Changsa seems to be a key in China and even spending carrier assets to pummel it and ignore everything alse in the Chinese theater. It's a tough nut to crack but it is the key I think. Do you think rolling all out in the East before the Reds were able to catch a breath would have made a difference? UK theatrics could have been ignored for the moment without US support as it would be easily contained. With Spain coming on your side I thought it was game over but I was mistaken. It's not over yet, and I really appreciate your game on this and great good efforts on both sides. With Spain coming on your side as part of your main strategy, do you think that you could have preserved the KM and linked up with the Italian navy in the med and give the Allies big headaches in the mid-east? Possibility of later linking up with the IJN would have been a devastating blow.
  21. not looking good for Adolf and Tojo here... I think CH has a clear initiative and advantage as the allied industrial might and beefed-up forces will now tell.
