  1. Well the information on the Nebelwerfer was never in question by me, what was and is though is if this is implemented in any of the games, and if not will it be in the next?
  2. c3k, in response to your post I would like to add that you forgot that the German rocket was spin stabalised. The Russian counter-part was finned, the German rockets were finless, the rocket propulsion system made the rocket spin. Please feel free to research the topic yourselves as I already have long ago. I was just trying to share some knowledge, not metephoricly see how high of a score I could achieve at a carnival game to impress others. Well that should do it for me until the release of CMX2 if even then. Richie, wild west indeed! Ha! But to each their own. Good day to you Gents!
  3. Well, posting here takes away valuable gammming time, so I simply cannot have that! If I have any question when the new CMX2 comes out perhaps I will post here, though the FAQ's of forums usually answer all questions or some other poster will have asked the question. Good Day!
  4. Did'nt mean to intrdrude on this thread, just stopped in to wish the three of you the best! *teleports out*
  5. Hey now, little speedyhead, The read on the speedmeter says You have to go to task in the city Where people drown and people serve. Don't be shy. Your just deserve Is only just light years to go. Me, my thoughts are flower strewn Ocean storm, bayberry moon. I have got to leave to find my way. Watch the road and memorize This life that pass before my eyes. Nothing is going my way. The ocean is the river's goal, A need to leave the water knows We're closer now than light years to go. I have got to find the river, Bergamot and vetiver Run through my head and fall away. Leave the road and memorize This life that pass before my eyes. Nothing is going my way. There's no one left to take the lead, But I tell you and you can see We're closer now than light years to go. Pick up here and chase the ride. The river empties to the tide. Fall into the ocean. The river to the ocean goes, A fortune for the undertow. None of this is going my way. There is nothing left to throw Of Ginger, lemon, indigo, Coriander stem and rose of hay. Strength and courage overrides The privileged and weary eyes River poet search naivete. Pick up here and chase the ride. The river empties to the tide. All of this is coming your way. 6. I am deeply sorry to hear this, I really wish I could write something here to make you feel better but alas I don't believe anything I would write would be able to really raise your spirits at this time. Let me add the same goes for you and Hiram as well Mace, my post apeared after I saw your above post. 7. CMX2 sounds like it is going to be the best war game made to date! Out with the old and in with the new! Great news indeed on the direction the new game egnine is going! Thanks for posting that KwazyDog, you just invigorated my interest in the next title!
  8. Please don't take my intentionaly snooty last sentence seriously. BTW, I never post about World War Two or the Combat Mission series of games. [ September 18, 2004, 08:30 PM: Message edited by: Tim The Enchanter ]
  9. It not only makes sense, but sources will back up my statement. For the quickest possible source you could check in the Twentieth Century Artillery Book, I believe it was the 300 of the Worlds Greatest Artillery Pieces one, by Hogg. I figured it was common knowledge.
  10. Could someone please tell me how to e-mail a forum Administrator?
  11. Just the ones that have been banned from the forum. You're about as convincing as OJ Simpson trying the gloves on for size. ; Don't let the door hit you. You know, in all your 50 posts, I don't think you mention actually playing Combat Mission in any of them... http://www.battlefront.com/cgi-bin/bbs/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=9;t=014936;p=1#000000 ) </font>
  12. Please do! Jeff really came out of left field for no reason, and the Dorosh character has been harrassing me since my first post here!
  13. And after all that hard work, Tim, you've put in to achieve that top position. My heart goes out to you. Mace </font>
  14. So are Jeff Smith and Michael Dorosh the resident humorless jerks? Why does this Dorosh character feel the need to postdate or is he also a buffoon? [ September 18, 2004, 03:35 PM: Message edited by: Tim The Enchanter ]
  15. Jeff Smith, my apologies to you good sir if you are offended, as that was the furthest thing from my intention! I have only once browsed the Political Forum, I hope you accept my apologies and that what I said was merely in fun good Sir!
  16. JeffSmith! Greeting my friend! I came here only to notice that you spelled hysteria wrong! There is no x in it!
  17. Greetings to you all! I make this topic because I have read that the Nebelwerfer-41 design differed greatly from it's Soviet counter-part in that the German rocket was pulled through the air while the finned Russian rocket was pushed through the air as it's rocket engine was in the back. The German design had the engine in the front, and the explosives in the rear, so logically speaking, the nose would dive into the ground be it from above or angled, while the explosives would detonate above ground. I believe this should be modeled giving these rockets more airburts in future games if it is not already implemented. The Russian rockets had the explosives in the nose of the rocket, the surrounding area would be spared the full wrath of the rockets explosive capabilities as the earth would absorb some of the impact and shrapnel.
  18. Has anyone taken into account fire discipline? You're typical World War Two fire firefight differed greatly from the house to house fighting as seen in the Half-Life mod Counter-Strike.
  19. Welcome aboard friend! I too have CMBB, it's a neat piece of software indeed! Sometimes I like to cuddle up to a steaming cup of hot chocolate during the colder months with an afgan and play out a frigid battle on the steppes!
  20. Friends! Hello once again folks! What is all the fighting about friends? No need to shout and yell to feel validated and heard. We're all gamers here! Here's to a fun filled afternoon of CM to you all! Oh my gosh I made a typo that had to be corrected! Pardon my typing skills as they grow friends!
  21. Be sure to flush and wash your hands, because as they say, cleanliness counts!
  22. What is is that has everyone so upset in here? It's only a game friends! No need for potty mouths Gang! It is still a pleasure to meet you all as I am confident you all have what it takes to run a tight ship and swab the good ole decks of all dirt and grime! Let's here it for CMAK Gang!
