Is that the hex closest to Chatham port? I'm a pretty lousy player but even i wouldn't do that. So many times i have defeated the computer when it puts units into that hex, you can just pick it off with 4 battleships.

Why don't you just make it that oil is more valuable than the others? It's a simple concept.

Does no one do this? I just did it in a PBEM with Korut Zelva but he seems to think i've made a big error. What are the disadvantages? I thought it seemed the logical thing to do as you don't have to worry about the west as you would do when invading Norway first.

I'm not a newbie, though I am to the internet game. I reckon i'm probably pretty **** though.

Eh, no. I know Churchill was pretty fat and all but would he really represent a whole hex? What about a Goering unit that encompasses the whole of western europe? I think that would add much more realism to this fantastic game.

I don't know if this has already been answered or not, but if you don't like it then you can shove it up your hole- For the campaign editor will it be possible to change the allegiances for separate nations? E.g. Germany could ally to France and Britain and fight the USSR, USSR ally to Germany and fight Britain France and US. It really fecked me off that I couldn't make a decent cold war scenario, or just an alternate reality one altogether. GET IT SORTED.

Entrenchment is essential to a good defence. In the defence of France I fill the maginot line with corps and hold the armies in reserve, out of range from the Luftflottes. The reason I do this is because corps when well entrenched can hold off armies quite easily, they can't do it under sustained pressure but they might buy you a turn or 2 to replenish other units or whatever. Corps are also cheap to reinforce which is a big plus.

Has anyone read it? I looked in the three main bookshops in Dublin when I was down there yesterday, but to no avail. Apparently it's being reprinted currently, does that mean I have no chance of getting an old copy before they are printed again? I was also looking for Heinz Guderian's Panzer leader, which I couldn't find. What is the world coming to? *sulks*

GARRGHHHHHHHHH. DOESN'T ANYONE READ WHAT I SAY? I've already beeeeen to that that site, it doesn't have the bitmaps i'm looking for. You must be about the 5th person to post that page saying something like 'this should sort all your troubles out'. I'm afraid it hasn't. Or perhaps you're just ignoring my plight and trying to help with the 1.07 incompatibility issue. Either way, I still can't believe that I have no way of getting my hands on the bitmaps I'm looking for.

What 'above link' are you referring to? Hmm, I don't know about incompatibility but the guy mentioned how the graphics didn't seem to work at first with V1.07
