What are your thoughts about the video series of the Somali battalion fighting at the Donetsk airport?

Kazzura has texted a number of videos covering months of the battle.
Dont just watch the video above, there is alot of other stuff on the channel.
Judging from the content it seems that the rebels are actually in control of the airport

^ People pay too much credence to symbols instead of intent. I equate the nazi and Hitler analogies to a version of Godwins law. Its tired and it gets in the way of what is really going on. Its like rebellious kids showing off for shock value. Symbols dont put people in concentration camps.

Can anyone tell me how the grads deployed by the separatists can be so accurate like the videos show? As far as I know the grad system is not considered to have pin point accuracy like classical artillery.

This is something I never understood. Its quite evident that the soviets had certain ways of making masses of people do war.
Isnt it more in their interest in actually portraying what actually happened and then try to correct eventual mistakes? Every military should.
It has been recognized that Stalin was a monster during the de-stalination in the 50s. Why not distance yourself from the total mindset of that period?
Then again I could be sorely mistaken. Perhaps total honesty is not advantagous to the military as an organization.

For those saying it is a fake video, please tell us where exactly. Someone said it was from a PS3 game, if so, which game?
Now ive seen a few "fake" videos from the war. The videos are not doctored per say, but the setup seems fake, e.g destroying unmanned tanks and pretending they are not, assaulting strongholds while it was clearly captured earlier, all to appease some distant backer in the arabian peninsula.
This is somewhat easy to spot even if you are not present yourself. It comes down to the way camera angles are used, what you know of human nature in combat and when not in combat and where the camera holders realistically should be when under fire and how humans act in general.
There is nothing so far that tells me the SAM video is fake, but id like to know what you guys spot that make it so. The assumption that because a few people yell akhbars should not indicate that there are people amongst the group that are not capable of operating the SAM.

Id interject and say that the FSA onboard that SAM vehicle might have foreign advisors or it might not.

Alright, finished this with me as the defender getting a minor victory. We agreed on a ceasefire with both sides exhausted.
Nicely balanced scenario for H2H and a very interesting mix of limitations to overcome. I do suspect some will be caught off guard when defending as the SAA.
Id love to hear others opinion of this one.

Continuation from the last ANNA clip and the FSA is still fighting back at the tank column on the road!! One tank is hit and some guy runs out to try and capture him! Heavy fighting.

Been playing this one with agusto for a week now and its great stuff. You got to plan ahead though, especially when playing the SAA. Take careful considerations in where you want to place your artillery because of their long setups.

Again, some very impressive footage from anna.
BMP drops off infantry straight into building, civilian vehicles pass by a Thunder Run esque convoy, a commander (?) yells continuous corrections from the camera observation point (this is how I envision commanding in a war situation like this would actually be conducted, realistically wise). A shoulder launched recoilless cannon.

Yes, given that the PKM teams are green they wont do much from distance. IMO the smartest thing you migh try here is that after taking out the bradleys, your infantry should ideally be placed on the extreme flanks behind little mounds. When the US inf runs trough the middle near the road you should look to shoot them in their backs. Use your HQ units also to do this.

How are you placing your infantry?
I find that the reverse slope tactic usually works against a superior enemy who has the edge range wise.

Regarding the possible use of a nuke by israel; there are plenty of independent syrian sources saying nothing on this. I would take my news from "syriangirl" over most other media and she would not hesitate a second to gain leverage from such an event.

The TOS-1 story is plausible. The mini nuke thing, not so. Honestly, would not this be on scale with the alleged use of sarin gas by Assad and why wouldn't Assad use the nuke as a tool of extreme propaganda immediatly since its measurable?

The Donetsk airport is obviously a contested place, but has anyone actually looked at videos from the place?
To me it seems the separatists are actually in control of the main areas, not the ukrainan army.
