That's why I am asking about this. WWI with the Achtung Spitfire engine or Flight Commander 2's game engine would be a blast imo.

OT: Would there be a way to mod those games to WWI? What would open them up?

I have had far too many issues with the running of the demo to warrant a full purchase.

Yes i have all up to date drivers etc.....

All my other games run great so i'm disappointed that this doesn't.

Hate to say it but with the issues here + the problems people have had with the new COI i have decided to buy Sudden Strike 3.

Yes i know it's not as intelligent, but i played it for most of the weekend and it hasn't disappointed me (realism is lacking but it's fun).

Perhaps for casual play this is a better option

Thanks again for all your help

You have just made a gigantic mistake giving up.

This is a great game(s) and they are worth the effort to make them work on your system. However, I am not sure why you are having trouble.

I have CM on my old rig and my new one (both PC), they work like a charm. My buddy just got a brand new rig, works fine on his system.

Sucks to be you I guess, but I think you gave up way to quick.

  5. As well Check out Robert Olesens' (RobO) Quick Campaigns (ROQC). You can find it at CM Mods (requres registration) under the designer RobO in the CMAK section. He made it for both CMBB and CMAK.

This makes for a "core" force to be made and used throughout the time period you choose using Excel or printed out charts he provides to keep track of your units. Mostly automated for easy use.

Check out the threads about it in this forum.

Try reading TEAM YANKEE if you haven't already. Another good one imo.

Man... I know all that about CMETO. I didn't explain myself correctly.

ALL I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW is are there any HIGH CONTRAST terrain files for CMETO!?!?!!??

Or will CMAK's modded high contrast terrain files look right in CMETO if they are used? I would think not.

    Thx for your time.
