  1. I can give a lucid answer. My parents are loving and tolerant folk, when they had me, little did they know their son would be on to your country's and people's ruinous designs on mine. Who's America's worst friend and enemy? Israel. Who's a threat to the globe? That's right. Whose barks will no longer be heeded (hoepfully)? Right again. There's yet a lot you're incapable of understanding, so Spare us the sentimental malarky why don't ya. </font>
  2. I still cannot understand why people like ThankMucho are allowed to be born...
  3. Just remember that during the 1930's until the invastion to Poland, Hitler did'nt broke any treaties also, that's still does'nt made him a peacefull human being. So the fact that Iran "only" have the nuclear knowledge makes it a good target for a regieme changing war. Ahmadinajad speaks freely and publicly about the distruction of israel and against the western world, i'm not even speaking about his opinions about gay people and even about other arab ethnic groups such as the Sunnis. So, think what would such a man will do with a nuclear bomb... Oren_m [ April 23, 2006, 10:46 AM: Message edited by: oren_m ]
  4. I am sorry kill the party, but tanks just does'nt explode that way! Either it's just an outer skeleton of a tank, or they added lots and lots of C4 in there. The tank is a T-72 with extra fuel drums on the rear. Oren_m.
  5. Well yea, because in real life we dont have ion beam...
  6. Actually there are great numbers of trees and vegation in the northern parts of Syria. Most of it are man made, in the shape of fields and plantions, but there are some woodland areas which are natural. And also, don't foget the areas around the river Euphartes, i believe that during a war, a major part of an advancing army will fight in the areas near the river in order to clear passages to cross the river. 7. Here are some D-9 pictures. I'm saying now, that i don't mean to hurt anyone with these pictures, an if you do get hurt....you're on the wrong side! And another picture of me and my crew (the TC is taking the pic), i have posted it here in another thread, but....i dont care. I'm on the left, it was taken 3 years ago. 8. The Nagmachon evolved due to the needs of the army, the previous versions, which are under armored dont exist anymore and were upgraded to the heavily armored monsters you see today.
  9. It's fixed, but i'm not sure that this is what you saw, because the Nagmachon units were stationed mainly in the Gaza strip, along the "Philadelphy" line.
  10. It maybe funny but it saved lots of lives! LongLeftFlank, Hummers are truely easy targets, but in the IDF we have highly protected Hummers which saved lives also, i really dont know why the US army dont buy our armor suits for it's Hummers....
  11. It is a knowen fact that APC's are death traps in urban areas, only last year, 11 IDF soldiers got killed in two APC's that were hit by an RPG-7 rockets. But the MBT based APC's are not new to the IDF, here are some of the heavy APC's we have: Achzarit (Cruel)T-55 based. Puma, Centurion based Nagmachon, Centurion based

Even after the latest update the same happens. What's going on?
  13. It's practicly the same, only it has larger side skirts and a loud speaker on the top ,so you can talk to people without going outside , it is mainly used when you set random checkposts for ID's check. Oren_m
  14. This APC is an modified M113, the turret is brand new and does not exist on any other AFV. This i used for urban warfare in the west bank, it was built specialy for that purpose. I hope you'll like the next pictures (actually i'm sure you would), it's a heavy APC based on the Merkava chassis, it is called "Namer" or Tiger, in english. Enjoy...
  15. The Syrian army relays heavily on it's artillery power, they have some 10 artillery regiments. Here is some of their arty capabilities: D-30 2A18M 122-mm Towed Howitzer 2S1 M-1974 Gvodzika 9K51 BM-21 Grad [ March 31, 2006, 02:58 PM: Message edited by: oren_m ]

  22. This is a video from a site that i have refered you all to and you did'nt care! It's a 13 minute video that shows super cobras during the war (2003) and a bit after it i think. It really worth to take a look, it also has a nice soundtrack. Could we expect that kind of an air support? Super Cobras in Iraq video Oren_m [ March 05, 2006, 04:56 PM: Message edited by: oren_m ]
  23. But, it could be very usful when you need to send a small force to an enemy country, let's say, Syria. In their aircraft mode they fly faster than helicopter (350 Kts, if i remeber right), and they can land where ever they like. Oren_m
