  1. Another question. See in the picture above I am highlighted on the bmp, but I cannot see any of its ammo stats. Is that foreshadowing the fact that it is about to die? At this point in the game it isnt dead yet.
  2. A few turns earlier I had two BMPs engage an MGS from about the same distance - but frontally rather than shooting up underneath it - and they KO'd the MGS. It took a few volleys - and obviously I dont know what caused the MGS crew to bail - maybe they just got scared. btw, I must say that the fact that I can shoot the underside of an AFV is a very nice improvement over CMx1 games. But I still miss the old QBs *sniffle sniffle*
  3. It isnt a miss. The BMP is shooting up at the underbelly of the MGS and hits it. Look at the pic.
  4. I understand that. But does that hold true even on the undercarriage? I wouldnt expect those to be too well armored. But maybe they are made with IEDs in mind.

  6. Would you really expect for a 30mm BMP-2 not to be able to kill an MGS at 30m when it is firing and hitting underneath the MGS. I am playing a 1.04 pbem game and that is exactly what happened. The MGS rolls into view. Takes a couple of rounds under the belly. Then turns and blows my bmp-2 to hell. At 30m I would have expected different results. Picture to follow.

  8. never left cmx1 - except cmbo of course been too frustrated by cmsf to finish a game. Have hopes for 1.03 though.
  9. I would recommend uploading scenarios to www.theblitz.org. It has a dedicated scenario section, and with the huge number of gamers there I have found that uploaded scenarios get more feedback than any other site.
  10. www.theblitz.org has a dedicated scenario section for CMSF. In my opinion it will also provide more scenario feedback than any other site I have seen.
  11. myself and another guy had the same problem with trident valley. Also, just to repeat another bug - infantry wont move on the first turn.
  12. In the take the airfield scenario I cant blow any holes in wall on the right (runs towards the airstrip). I have targetted it with different 105 strykers and shot a total of 6 rounds at the walls and never once got a breach. on the other side, I got a breach with every shot. Just bad luck? Anybody else is having this problem?

  14. I remember reading that the weight of body armor is taken into consideration for tiring and movement. How are the protection benefits from body armor modeled? Can US troops in body armor shrug off some "hits" that would cause a casualty to unarmored Syrians? Are any of the Syrians armored? If so, how does that compare to US armor? Did any of the playtesters test this?
  15. I am playing a pbem as syrians, and I had ordered a squad to move from point A to point B on turn N1 and then from point B to point C on Turn N1+2. Well now I have half the squad at point C, but half the squad is still at point A. On top of that, the squad icon has disappeared underneath a hill. If anybody knows how to get my squad back into one group, please let me know. Would be happy to send the file to anybody who wants to look.

  18. there is no way to see the detailed unit information. It is somewhere on their wish-list of things to add.
  19. I agree, it does sound like a neat scenario
