I have created a new operation. It is Fictional German Airborne assault of a Russian airfield. The opening battle is a night assault, it is on a static map. The idea is for German armor to break thru after the Paradrop to relive the Airborne forces and make the battle a little more intresting. I am just starting a playtest via TCP/IP tonite and would love to have some other people play it and give me some feed back. does anyone else thing that onboard mortars are a little light on ammo load out.

I'm not asking for revolutionary or any thing but seeings how factorys were not that common in NA how bout converting the factorys into bunkers

I would like to see bunkers that have a tile(correct term?) like a house, where forces including AT guns can be placed maybe something similar to the factory, so that they can be made fairly large. And could be placed in the map editor.

I find the best way to keep them from firing indiscriminatly is to keep them on the reverse slope of a hill and move them into firing position when reloaded, also keeps them from taking a dreaded gun hit.

I would think that a fit soldier should be able to run more than 50-70 meters without tiring

One russian advantage I didnt see mentioned is that russian tanks have better off road performance in adverse weather than German tanks

Those 85mm AA guns are a nasty surprise, I had one chew me up last night in an TCP/IP game last night. Just my two cents.
