  1. Thank you Sergei, where can I obtain this marvelous tool?
  2. Can a single battle file for a newly made scenario be converted to an operation file and then added to and turned into a multi battle operation?
  3. I bet they all talk just like you...with a non-descript mid-western accent. Must be just like a Radley family reunion. If you could just check your email options, that would be peachy, Sahib...ooops I mean Sir!
  4. The Battle of the Bulge movie was cute, with Robert Ryan as a german tank commander and american tanks posing as Panthers and Tigers. "Band of Brothers" also had a couple of good episodes on easy company's part in the defense of Bastogne. I am surprised there have not been more movies about this battle. I would have thought a story about american soldiers (i.e. heros),defeating a superior german invading force (i.e. nazis)would be a surething by Hollywood standards. </font>
  5. Peace out brother! I'll check out my in box tonight and see if its possibly there...although I already know it isn't. Can't you get a real on-line service? Or at least start worshipping Rama or somesuch.
  6. So? Don't let a little tardiness stop you. If you want to sit back, relax, think of all you've accomplished and not post for awhile, please do so. Please. Why not start right now? </font>

  8. I really miss scale modelling...but after two detached retinas and the ravages of the aging process, alas my eyes are not up to it anymore. I just visited the Tamiya web site, and I must say it looked better to me than a Victoria's Secret Catalogue, (right bad eyes...remember?) I haven't built one in nearly twenty years **sniff**....a plastic model that is....
  9. Do you sleep with these things?. It seems as if the Sherman is getting all the covers. I guess if you get cold at night, you could just smash the thing and roll over....more problematic with another person by your side. [serious critique] It looks a bit shiny...is it the camera flash? What kind of paint do you use? [/end serious critique]
  10. Message understood, my post has been edited accordingly... </font>
  11. Heat bad. Cold good. Carpets and freshly painted walls last longer if you keep them in a refrigerator. So I just take the damage deposit if the proles actually turn up the thermostat and "ruin" them. Hmm, lovely ice storm today.... </font>
  12. Its probably the only positive trait that he has displayed since he dragged himself in here, that and making light of that pompous ass Shaw
  13. I have played a couple of them on-line already. They were excellent in two-player mode, very action packed, in fact that concept developed by HSG is one of the things pushing me to finally do this project.
  14. Does this glow you speak of have anything to do with.......hmmmmmm , flamethrowers ?
  15. Sergei, do you mean overwhelming in the sense that it is an exciting, fun play, or that it is large and bogs down slower machines? I have not seen that one yet, thanks for the reply. I had in mind to provide continuing briefings that would give the player a feeling of connection with the previous battle. That is the easy part though, I would be able to compile decent briefings, its the maps and the mechanics that worry me, I want them to be playable.
  16. I am in the beginning stages of research in creating a series of CMAK battles (semi-historical) encompassing British and Canadian operations around Caen in late June and July of '44. Specifically those actions against units of the 9th and 10th SS Panzer Divisions, and to some extent the Hitler Jungend. I am envisioning a series of battles, up to 50 turns each (some shorter) that would recreate the ebb and flow actions up to the breakout. They would flow in a kind of chronological order. I know a lot of these battles have been done in CMBO and to some extent I have already seen a few in CMAK, but I am looking to make them a related series that players could experience with an overall campaign feel. Mechanically, would this be better done as seperate battles or small operations? I am always leery of how set up zones are established in operations, and I think it would be easier to make individual, related battles. Is there something I am missing?, how do you guys feel about this? Any suggestions? I finally have the time available to devote to this, and I am anxious to get going.
  17. They taste quite good with hummingbird tongues...or so I have been told.
  18. As long as dopey Shaw keeps posting pics with broken links (rhyme, say it five times really fast), I may let it go .
  19. You won't see a display of such agregious behavior from my young Squire, stikkypixie. He gets daily lessons in courtesy and manners, along with a liberal dose of the switch....pain is a great motivator.
  20. Maybe we should move this to the "Your Favorite Troll" thread on the GF?
  21. Actually my keyboard has a very long cable so I can type from down here. Mace </font>
  22. Tell her i´ll be waiting In the usual place With the tired and weary There´s no escape To need a woman You´ve got to know How the strong get weak And the rich get poor You´re running with me Don´t touch the ground We´re restless hearted Not the chained and bound The sky is burning A sea of flame Though your world is changing I will be the same The storm is breaking Or so it seems We´re too young to reason Too grown up to dream Now spring is turning Your face to mine I can hear your laughter I can see your smile No i can´t escape I´m a slave to love
  23. I was bored with all the silly pictures....isn't it time for you to slam you head in a car door or somefink?
