  1.      Damned fine work Juju !!!! Now YOU will feel the pleasure to be bumped to death Cheers Tom ( TCMHQ )
  2. Gentlemen , just released a new set of dirt roads ( 350 kb )for those who didn´t like my original Ardennes 1944 splitted roads. It´s just a quick shot ( low res ) , but should do the job until I have time to work on a new hires version. Tom
  3. mchlstrt, sorry...just rechecked the zip by downloading it via IE 5 and Netscape 6... no problems occured and the file was OK. Did you use a kind of dl accelerator or did you try to download via AOL ? Cheers Tom
  4. Eric, I made one a loooong time ago ( front- and backcover ) You can download it from the " Goodies " section of my website. Cheers Tom
  5. Some shots of a new mod under construction including dirt roads ,paved roads , city pavement , a new bridge and a garden bitmap. The paved roads and the pavements in the cities now share the same pseudo 3D look as seen on the bridge tops in my Ardennes 1994 mod ( No more graphic " breaks " when connecting roads with city bitmaps ) Including alternative bitmaps to construct parks and grand places Paved road outside the city ( Painting those curves is a real nightmare , since my only reference pic is 613.bmp from the Bulge mod ). New stone bridge with " ceiling ". In Action Shot 1 In Action Shot 2 Release date ? .....When it´s done  Cheers Tom [ March 10, 2002, 08:21 AM: Message edited by: Tom TCMHQ ]
  6. Gentlemen, " Allied Armor " site - row 4 on the right. I guess you have to reload the site ( maybe up to 3 time... I fear my provider " caches " older html sites ). Does it work now ?? Cheers Tom
  7. Well , seems to be a kind of " French Mod Festival " this evening: first I got the new Marder and a few hours later PawBroon sends in his stunning new Archer mod. You´ll find it on the " Allied Armor " site. Cheers Tom
  8. Don´t miss Saturnins first CM Mod: a wonderfull textured hires Marder II that comes with an alternative damaged version ( grab it from my " Axis Armor " modsite ). Cheers Tom
  9. Jake , I am sorry , but I can´t find a solution here. Just rechecked the files by downloading them from the server via my crappy 56k modem and everything works fine ( all files in place - all zip files could be unzipped - no error messages ). Cheers Tom
  10. Lord Dragon, " South of Sword " is on the Combat Mission CD Cheers Tom
  11. Hi guys, I will start to work on a optional " full " dirt road tomorrow. As I said on my website: your input is always welcome and I rate this as a nice suggestion. Cheers Tom
  12. Commissar, ..THANKS ! THAT saved my day Cheers Tom Think of it as another opportunity to relive your youth . . .without the acne.</font>
  13. Tom , I am no expert , but judging from your pic I guess the 8 MB video card causes the problem. My new terrain tiles replace the hi-res snow bitmaps. If there isn´t enough video memeory , CM loads the alternative low-res snow bitmaps. I fear that´s the price for all those shiny hires stuff on our computers. Cheers Tom
  14. Tom, the add-on file is on the bottom of the " Ardennes " download site ( maybe you have to reload the page ). BTW: I apologize for not answering your mail concerning the quicktime panorma idea. My mailbox was flooded with mails during the last weeks and I simply " lost control ". I´m sorry for that. Cheers Tom [/qb]
  15. " South of Sword " is also one of my all-time favorites. One of the first PBEM´s I ever played..against an opponent from FINNLAND    ( you know what I mean .. ). I played the Allies and could hardly manage a draw at the end. Cheers Tom
  16. Gentlemen , I got mails from people who asked for " real " treebases for the BOB mod , cause they play with the " trees off " option    I uploaded an additional file on my modsite with an attempt to fullfill these needs (I still prefer the semitransparent version ). BTW: yesterdays forum crash degrades me to a " junior member ".. a terrible experience after posting here for nearly 1.5 years and close to the age of 40  Cheers Tom
