Another question, do those vehicles really only hold 200rds of ammo. Seems like a small amount, I guess since it’s a bigger round maybe less storage space?
http://www.baesystems.se/hagglunds/brochure/cv9035markiii.pdf
Thats a Mark III, not sure if it's eqvivalent to the NL version in game, but that info broschure put ammo as 2x35 ready rounds plus typical stowage as 140 rounds.

I've seen that one of the scenarios, at least, from the demo is available for the full game as a dl but I've had no luck in trying to import the demo scenario files with copy and past.
They show up in the mission editor, but I've not managed to resave them to get them to work that way either.
It's the DEMO Training Mission.btt that I'd like to run in the full game as I found it a fun little mission to learn to play in real time with. And I prefer platoon or company seize scenarios overall.
Anyone know what I'm doing wrong here? -

Yes, all the models and textures were reworked. The Soldiers, in particular, were a major overhaul.

Uh oh, the SF2 AI have become self-teaching, SKYNET protocol initiated....time to head for the bunker! -
Oh goody, these threads are almost better than playing the game itself.

Steam is quite handy for storing licenses, updates, etc. Basically it's very user friendly, at least to most users.
I don't see the point of discussing CM on steam though. People in the know decide what's best for the company. I'm no BF shareholder so I'm not even going to contemplate second guessing BF.C business decisions like these.
Would I like CM on steam? Yes, why not would be easy for me.
Does it really matter to me? Nah2This, like +100

I'd cast my vote for Early war too. Always found that period more interesting than the late war scenario.

That twitching mortarman made me think of this:

Nope

I was more curious about the over pressure. The story was pretty graphic on how it affected those 2 Marines and they were on a roof. Thinking my troops lying next to a tank as it fires looks kinda dumb.
I can only speak from training environments with full caliber ammo for the 84 mm Carl Gustaf. But considering I got blood taste in my mouth and clear pressure change feel all over the body, particularly the torso, when leading the squad and being 5-10m to the side of the damn thing (much less uncomfortable to actually fire it yourself) wearing double hearing protection I can only imagine the "discomfort" of being in close vicinity of a tank 120 mm gun fired in an urban setting.

The good news is that BF will probably release something in the next 5-6 weeks. How do I know? They carefully monitor my travel plans and when I am out of town with no access to the internet that is when new product is released. (I will be back by June, so not long to wait now.)
You should travel without internet access more often then...

but as I understand there is no winter in CMRT right?
I'm probably not the only one that wished CMFB had been a module to CMBN rather than a stand-alone in this regard.

CMBN+modules. Its the most fleshed out game of the CM2 family.

@IICptMillerII@HerrTomlook at "The Russian Way Of War, Force Structure, Tactics, and Modernization of the Russian Ground Forces" by Dr. Lester W. Grau and Charles K. Bartles dated 2016. You can Google it and get a copy of the PDF.
Thanks a lot for this tip. Been looking for something like this with little success myself. Found it and several other very interesting reads on the same site.

Well there is a vehicle just like the stryker that in fact can swim so the big question is why was this ability dropped and in favor of what was that decision taken?
That is what I ask myself too. But I'm guessing a slightly higher degree of protection is prefered over the amphibious ability. Western armies tend to prioritize their personnel's survival.
I saw something somewhere about the Polish Rosomak with a scaled down protection level, but with amphibious ability, being shelved after their Iraq experience. -
The most perplexing thing with the Strykers for me, given one of their raison d'etre ( mobility), is the lack of true amphibious ability.

Thanks guys, much appreciated. Now I'm just going to figure out how to install mods again. IIRC there was a mod manager for CM SF. Does that work for CMBS too?

6. CMBS jumped ahead of others with its own Battle Pack, but is owed a Module. We've been doing them in order of release and that means CMBS is theoretically next after CMRT. Marines are an obvious selection for the first Module and the work being done for CMSF2 is going to pave the way for that to happen

2Along with the SF2 news, this item really makes me happy.

Have there been any TO&E posted for Fire and Rubble ala the one on the base games store page?
