First let me say I love CMBS its awesome and very fun, but this post has kind of killed it for me =/ I love play as Russia and Ukraine they have really neat vehicles and gear, but you saying Russia has 0.0% chance makes it less fun to play them somehow I feel like Russia is just set up to loose in game now. I figure Russia would put up a much better fight than Saddam's Iraq.
Then by all means avoid playing Germans in any of the WW2 titles....

They are always talking about how they hire people that were part of the modding community that exists. Support it.
Those were'nt programmers. They utilised people from the community for graphics, scenarios and maps iirc.

People need to start realising that CM games are programmed by 1-2 people unlike the games you make comparisons to. So its pretty much comes down to fixing and enhancing the game or producing doda's for the web. What would you really prefer having?

Something along the lines of the EW setting that regulated the chance/risk for the air assets arrivial as suggested above would be very welcome indeed.

This wintermod is risking setting me down the CM1 modslut path again. I probebly spent more time testing and looking for mods then acctually in game playing....

Could someon send manual for cm final blitzkrieg in PDF to my e-mail pdolny1@wp.pl I don't know why i can't download it.
Could be the ip block BF have for some countrys/Ip ranges iirc. They had some trouble that forced them to take that action some years ago.

Re: Swedish authors, its to bad Michael Tamelander and/or Niklas Zetterling have not written a work on the Ardennes (That I'm aware of at least). Greatly enjoyed their very readable and professional previous works.
Still on the fence about shelling out 400-500 sek for the Bulge book by Bergström. To bad I didnt get it in swedish around its release from SMB when it was like 250-300 sek.
Edit: Hmm looks like its available for 353 sek from one large vendor now...hmmmmm *ponders purches*

As the title says I'm having problems uploading forum avatars as files. the "done" button when the upload is complete is greyed out. I'm using Google Chrome . Anyone else experianced this?
