Overnight? It's been MONTHS Boo Radley and he has successfully completed the course of study required of aspirants to the mantle of Knight of the Shavian House .

And as for AARs, I don't remember seeing any, which either means they weren't there or they were so lame as to be ignored.
As there are no Ker Dessel* scenarios available anymore, the least you could have done was have him play a Rune scenario and post an AAR of that, but no... The allegedly proud tradition of trials weathered by Knight-candidates for the Shavian House has become the equivalent of getting a diploma from Brown-Mackie College.
So sad.

I have been lax my friends, not to be confused with Ex Lax though the results of that are much the same as one sees here.
My young friend and protege, sburke has been toiling valiantly in the vineyards that are the Cesspool and I ... well, I have not. But he has upheld the honor and glory that is the Shavian House and is to be commended for that.
As a result, and in my capacity as Beloved Justicar for Life of the Peng Challenge Thread, I hereby announce to one and all that the Squire sburke is now and shall be known as Sir sburke.
He is and shall always now be, a full fledged Knight of the CessPool and a fully accredited and promoted Knight of the Shavian House.
Arise Sir sburke and serve your House well.

Oh, good. Another latch-key Squire becomes yet another overnight... Knight.

Where were the tests, the trials?
How many battles did he fight against other Squires? How many AARs did he submit?

Berli's going to be dog-sitting for me when I go up north with Seanachai to his island in a few days.

Making kohlenklau a Seniour Knight, is oddly a good idea, but given the nature of his contribution, I think he should be give a post. Inquisitor General, answerable to the Justicar, is my decree.

Do I get thanked in any way? Am I made a Seniour Knight? NOOOooooo! Pfffft! You just KNOW dalem's going to stagger up at the last moment and shout "SHOTGUN!" in that quavering falsetto voice of his. It's what he ALWAYS does! Then he'll mount the horse backwards (I said DOWN, Bauhaus!) throw up on it's croup, slide off sideways into a pile of droppings and lay there singing about hedghogs, while we all stare at him in a typically bemused fashion! The guy can buzzkill a party from a hundred yards away, that bastiche!

No calls back yet. Tried again but still no answer.
So get this...why does this maybe mean a bit more to me? Beyond just being fellow forumites and having respect for Michael (age ~71) as I have seen his posts as helpful, etc.
Well, always for many many years now I saw his profile and he is actually from a town maybe a half hour or so from where my older sister lives!
In fact I just chatted with my sister, she is a nurse and she will get boots on the ground to pass him a short note I e-mailed to her for us maybe tomorrow as she heads to work in Seattle.
Your buddies from Battlefront website say a warm hello, hope you have a quick recovery and please swing by the combat mission forums soon to say hello.
I told her to maybe grab some flowers!

Hi fellas. On the phone for several hours. neighbors, police, churches, apartment manager, etc.
The bad news is he was reported to have been injured in some type of motor vehicle accident back around March the officer said.
Then he went to a convalescent hospital but they are unable to tell me anything other than "not listed as a resident at this time"...
Good news: property manager finally answered my 2nd call and she says he is doing well and she'll give him my number to call me.

Tell him that if he doesn't get well soon., The MBT (Long may it wave!) will PAY to have Seanachai come to his apartment and "minister" to him. And he'll be wearing a "Naughty Nurse" costume.

kohlenklau posted in the CMBN forum that he tried to get in touch with Emrys. It seems he was involved in a motorvehicle accident. He was hospitalized. But he is still with us thankfully!
Thanks for the update, PM! I know we hadn't heard anything from him since March and I checked on another site, but he hadn't been there for a couple of years, apparently. sometimes members just slip away and you don't know what happened to them. Glad he's still kicking.
I was not finished abusing him.
