  2. Oh, how emasculating and humiliating it is to be unemployed. Good thing I live in such a self made, self deprecating world of my own creation. As I wallow in my despondency I notice that there is a ray of light. In fact, there are several that I’d like to share with you all tonight.

First, there is CMBB. That game has replaced my need for any social interaction. Any need for outside contact is now gone as I play against the fascists or even the communists. Either way, I take the moral high ground. I know I’m doing the right thing as I smash them beneath my digital boot as reality slowly fades away. I do play some of you as an altruistic attempt to boost your self esteem. Another win against me might help you feel a bit better about yourself and give a bit more confidence with the missus. Oh, don’t pretend that you aren’t just a bit randy after a Major Victory.

Second, there is a female ray of hope named Stacy. She has a delicious posterior and a mind that is a challenge to tangle with. I get lost in her eyes and she teases my synapses with thought provoking conversations. She and I met at my old workplace before my nefarious manager saw fit to end my employment. She knew that I wanted to gently mount her sense of decency by the sounds of the yummy noises emanating from my hirsute frame. Sit down, Bauhaus!! So many times I wanted to thrust my humor into her world and titillate her complacency. She was not unaware of my amorous intentions and has decided to reward me once and for all. I now have a ticket to enter into a paradise of feminine goodness some time soon. I do hope the usual retching I hear when they see my repulsive visage won’t be the effect once more. Let’s hope she needs glasses and I get lucky!!

Third, and finally…there is a bright ray of hope every time I visit my sister. She is scheduled for six months of chemotherapy now and her white blood cells are doing quite well. She does feel a bit sleepy now and again, but that is the only weakness she will allow others to see. I visit to help in any way I can. That usually includes me playing with my three year old twin nieces. Since I relate with the youngsters because of my obvious immaturity, we get along quite well. I have so many things to teach them like declaring that an adult is “gamey” whenever it’s time to go to bed. Each visit with her refreshes my soul and helps me understand that the rest of us really shouldn’t feel sorry for ourselves.

So, boys and girls. What have we learned? When life has shat upon you and you feel like you are nothing more than the proverbial freckle on the left butt cheek of humanity, there is still something to be happy about.

    to http://www.cmb2b.de

    DISCLAIMER:

Site is best viewed with 1280x1024 pixels. I had no time to adapt the site for smaller screens today, this will follow tomorrow.

PS: Panzerwalze update will follow tomorrow too.

    Feedback is always welcome!

Looks good at 800X600 resolution. It made me feel all tingly inside.
  4. Speedbump was the first to accept my transition challenge. It was seamless and a good time will be had by all. I'm playing an Andreas Beer-man scenario about a station or somefink.

I'm the good guys while he is the goose stepping fascists. They will pay for shaving the russian women!!

    Stay tuned, true believers!

Edit - FYI...I play with Extreme FOW on, so don't be suprised.

Also, Seanachai has accepted the transition challenge and will suffer the rude embarrasment of a pummelling from the Hirsute one.

  5. Gentlemen,

I am making the following announcement because of the new and splendiferous CMBB.

    1. If any of my CMBO opponents want to play in CMBB, give me a holler. We can do a ceasefire in CMBO and you can get your damned victory. We can then start up a game in CMBB.

    2. If any of my current CMBO PBEM opponents want to continue the CMBO game to it’s fruition (my defeat), please let me know and I will continue with that obligation, of course.

    3. I will email this to my current PBEM opponents because you may be too busy playing CMBB to check this sad excuse for a Peng thread.

    4. I have sent a setup to a Mister Lindan as my first PBEM because I am fickle and still waiting for Moriarty to quit his job and play full time like me.

That is all. Go about your mundane lives as before.

  6. Gentlemen,

I was fired two weeks ago and received CMBB on Monday morning at 10:00 AM. I've played almost non stop since then. I've showered once because of my malodorous scent.

I want CMBB scenarios. I've sampled many of the ones that came with the CMBB game, and they are splendid. But, you already know that.

Since I am a simple fellow with a short attention span, I prefer Tiny, Small, and Medium scenarios.

    Suggestions?

  7. Andreas, you already know that you are my hero. So, we won't get into that right now.

I played "Bridgeheads" (the titles are fuzzy in my mind by now - I've played for 4 days straight)

I really enjoyed the immediate combat. Since I am a simple fellow, I cherished the simplicity of the scenario. I have no spoilers because I know that many others will be sampling your scenario delicacies.

The sight of many Russians attacking does catch the breath. It was awe inspiring.

    Thanks guys!

Amen to that, Old Dog. I did read through the manual and noticed some very familiar names. I do hope to get their autographs some time in the future.

Here's to hoping for a CM Convention!!

  9. I’m guilty of not giving credit to the scenario designers for making some really creative and challenging scenarios. I’ve given little feedback during these last two years and I can only apologize for the oversight. I saw some familiar names as the creators of the CMBB scenarios and I’d like to take this time to say Thank you. I know that I’m one of many who have gladly played the game without giving kudos to the gentlemen that sat down and researched the historical scenarios and the gentlemen who created the not so historical ones.

Scenario designers, you have done a splendid job. Many of you have your reputations, such as Rune, Andreas, and Berlichtingen. I’ve experienced a myriad of emotions as I’ve played them. Few of them end in victory, but that is due to my cognitive lapses of course.

Self deprecation aside, I just want this to be a post of gratitude regarding scenario design. Any schmuck can be a scenario creator, but I witnessed some awesome displays of creativity when I started playing CMBB two days ago. Thank you, gentlemen.

    Your biggest fan,

    Hiram
