CM still$45 with CM2 comming out???
Fieldmarshall replied to IronClad's topic in Combat Mission Archive #3 (2001)
I bought this game back in November.....IT is the ONLY game I have ever played that I have played this long without getting even a tatch board..sure there will be the two or three day lulls when I have other stuff to do...but this game never seems to develope the motontony the others do..since I bought CM I have only bought one other game...totaling my favorite game list to Three from the many games I own..now I only play these three...CM being #1...I must say, the best $45 I have ever spent in my life...also SUPURB manual! -
Note: maybe a lot of typos.....2nd\3rd degree burns on left hand..can only type with right... Ok here goes: I need vuolunteers for a new scenario I am attempting to make! One or two volunteers will be needed...this will be two scenarios: April 1945 called Das Vaterland!...Ok I want these to be made by a team..to see what we ca crank out of the machine: I already hope to have a member: Agua will be the breifings editor/force tester" I need a "briefings writer" "plot designer" "unit editor" I will be the "map designer" The whole team will be called " Feildmarshalls Battle Group" and once all the members are confirmed we will have a "meeting" here in the forum...sometime this week! E-mail or post!

Fear in the fog scenario
Fieldmarshall replied to John O'Reilly's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
Any relation to the Bill O'Reilly...no spin zone thingy.... -
I suppose it could be gamey if they are those guns in the movie that always make sparks but no smoke(just the opposite of REAL guns) and never run out of ammo...and then are given to the un-trained hero who can hit a penny from a 1000 yards with a old rifle, a bent barrel and a crooked iron site...and that never ran out of ammo.

Orange bases for units
Fieldmarshall replied to Tom Konczal's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)

quote:
Originally posted by Tom Konczal: Actually, you do not need a set-up area to get the orange bases. It works with or without setup areas. Thanks to an email from niles.hirschi@gte.net (Niles Hirschi) for the answer. When placing the troops, use the spacebar menu and click on padlock setup for the uint. It's base turns orange and not move or put commands appear. See it was simple and I do feel silly. Thanks to all who responded!!

---No Problem -Fieldmarshall (aka Niles Hirschi) -
When CM-2 arrives in our mailboxes, will anyone be making a Korean War conversion? -Fieldmarshall

First, I would like to thank the many people who have sent me good reviews and suggestions about Across the Reich. Thanks for the Comments. Now down to the juicy bit: As you may have heard, the sequal to Across the Reich will be called Operation Germania, well that has changed(although "Operation Germania" will still be the name of the German plans...two sequals will be made int the series, when its finished, it will be an entire series: Across the Reich (The Begining) Revival of the Reich Ashes of the Reich For any more info on these or any other scenarios by me, e-mail me at: niles.hirschi@gte.net [ 08-20-2001: Message edited by: Fieldmarshall ]
