Hello all, for any of you who have played my scenarios you will know I have made only late war scenarios(my favorite because few people make them, they are more challenging for the Germans, and the maps are fun to toggle with in my opinion..Early Normandy I like too....) any way I need some sort of book or resource on late war (March-may 1945) Death Traps and Rhineland where both great but didnt cover these specific areas, just '45 skirmish type battles are the best.(been having sort of a writers block for the past few days.) -Fieldmarshall [ 08-14-2001: Message edited by: Fieldmarshall ]

Does the latest model of the Panther have this infa-red night vision targeter moddeled? Does the VG Late have higher accuracy rates than the rest...? Speaking of stupid notices here is one that came with a camera I just bought, Quote: "Caution, camera will not function properly if film is not loaded" what is that?! Who on this earth can't figure that out on thier own...? -Fieldmarshall

Yeah, you people are right, I took this way out of proportion. Imature...childish...My orders according to the briefing were to kill as many of the enemy as possible before I would let them advance. That is the nature of war to kill. That crew still had pistols and a thompson. They could do damage, and if ,my orders are not only to destroy the tank, but to aswell destroy the infantry and crews. Not drive them back but kill as many as possible. So no I am not being unreasonable, he should have been killed in the tank, instead he had to be encircled and ripped to peices by a platoon of HMGs, a waste of ammo that could have been used on heavier targets, but he was suppressing a panzerschreck, there fore a risk that would not have occured if they had all been killed in the tank like they should have been. -Fieldmarshall

Couldnt find any matches in the search...so here goes: Will temerature be modeled in CM: 2 like in Parameters I would like to set temps like Cold, Warm, Brisk, Hot, and the like, so it can affect infantry movement, considering you are modeling fittness into the game, the tempurature could go hand in hand...like unfit Volkssturm would be very immoble in really hot weather...it could have a real affect on balance..what do you think BTS -Field

I BLEW THE DAMN THING TO PEICES there is no way any one but James Bond or Superman could find a way to survive that...I hit the frontal peice of armor I did a replay and slow mo..if it passed through the tank it would have passed right thrue the bloody crew. Come on, no way in hell could any of those guys in real life survive, the shrapnel should have had a number on the inside of the tank as well..it was out right bull plop -Field

Ok this is something about the game that really angers me...alright I have a Jagdtiger, holding a meadow right, then suddenly a Stuart pops up out of the side and the Jagdtiger rotates towards it...Fires its main gun...BLOOOIE!!!!!!! BIG, HUGE explosion, what a surprise the tank is disabled, it rolls slowly to a stop...then the crew pops out! (Angering me that any survived in the first place) THEN to really rub it in every one of the crew of the stuart survived not one incapacitated, injured or dead, what is that...128MM GUN, HITS ammo store on a tiny itty bitty tank, one would think a hole would have blown through the stuart (which really happend to shermans seen some really cool photos) and they survived AAAAAGGGGGGG come on, BTS do something! -Field :mad:

Well Maximus, considering I have only played Chance Encounter exactly FOUR times three in November, ONCE this year, it seems I have a right to finally beat it, it isnt slowness, its laziness.... I ordered my game in late October and did not recieve it until a week into November, and in that time I was stuck to the demo. Playing valley of Trouble, as the Germans, then decided I would play Chance Encounter as the Americans, PEICE OF CAKE wiped out the Germans in five turns, just blitzed 'em simple as that, then played as the Germans got slaughtered doing the same thing, kept trying holding back, got slaghtered, rush to take the crossroads and prevent counter attack, got slaughterd, then the game comes, sick of this scenario I dont play it again until yesterday. Then overlooking the map (now with much improved battle field experience) I figure defense is key, establish a solid line, the terrain is in fact in favor of the Germans(if the AI holds back like it usually does ) Put the StuGs around the church and the infantry spread into two treelines the big one on the ridge and anonther behind and to the right of the church. Bingo, I had almost NO casualties, and slaughtered the Allies knocking out all four Shermans....whew, it felt good to finally do that. -Field [ 08-12-2001: Message edited by: Fieldmarshall ]
