..........thank you, very cool....would it be possible to code more "freedom" into the game, imagine the young hauptman KNOWS the bridge SAYS it can't hold his 'sexy kitties' but he MUST TAKE BOLD ACTION...so he runs em across only to have the first 2 make it and the third CRASH through the bridge! - Part of the magic in this game is watching low probability events occur (or NOT occur )...100% probability kitty goes for a swim on an infantry only bridge, some blending of 'odds' at everything above that....MY CALL ON WHERE MY KITTIES GO....Freedom to do dumb things and or make mistakes or WIN BIG on a long shot will keep it interesting! • Infantry only • Infantry, wheeled, and light tracked vehicles • Everybody allowed except heavy tanks • Everybody allowed (EVERYBODY ALLOWED ON EVERYTHING but beware!)

Please post a date that you will post the announcement of the CM game...I check the the forum nearly daily for updated news...any harm in that? Many of us need something "fun" to look forward to...help keep the "troops" (er players) morale up by at least giving a date that you will give some concrete news other than "soon"...we are dying out here on the 'front'...thxs

...a neat middle ground to FPS example is an xbox games called "future tactics"...you actually get to line up the cursor then the player/system takes the shot...you get the fun of setting the target cursor "on" but prevent the arcade type twitch...was thinking as BF cranks up graphics and details on next game you could devolve the game into smaller unit actions as the game will handle ever bigger map/details/numbers...checking 500 LOS get's boring for me...start to issue general commands...this feature (line up the shot) would make commanding just a couple of AFV detail intensive, jump to driver seat to set hull down/avoid soft patch...jump to gunner to lign up shot...it would finish the 'views' allowed in the game to allow inside optics/driver slot...

Would anyone like to see the target from the perpesctive of the gunner?...say you place a tank in position and are able to rotate to view of gunner optics...see the cross hairs line up then BAM!...not saying to show the interior of the tank...just be able to see the gunner line up and take the shot?...
