In the game. Beautiful job guys. This was the module I've been waiting for since the "Road Map" was set out.
Edited to add: Noted the hat tip to CMBO original Operation Kampgruppe Peiper (or was it called Stavelot?)

I find this kind of satisfying.
Love it, too! "No one gets out alive!"

Aaaaaaaand.....Steve didn't quash the speculation on release this week Soooo
Lookin good, folks.
-
I had to unbutton the gunner. Try that.
-
Because Steve is screwing with the page and doesn't know what he's doing?

As of last Summer, the expansion pack would not work/install/whatever. Have no idea of anything since then as the SD card Touch was stored on crashed.

From the 3.12 readme that's now in the CMBN folder:
v3.12 Features:
.
TO&E
.
* The imposter "Vickers" team that is actually a 2IC team available for purchase as a Specialist Team has been removed.
.Ran into "Vickers" icon for 2IC teams in QB yesterday after installation.
[edited to add:] This was a computer picked force.

Installed and running perfectly!

Hmmm.... close call. That's right in the time frame of my prediction. I'll go with CMFB.
-
No, typically when they get quiet, release is imminent.
-
For some reason, I get the feeling it will be mid March or early April before we get it in our hands.
[Steve's apparently uncontrollable urge to make a fool of me following any of my predictions ensures that we'll see the release very shortly. You're welcome.]

He heh, I'm like you, played every CM game since forever and still have to go look in the key commands menu to remind myself how to toggle stuff. Like movie-mode lighting and brightened night time effect.
Same, and specifically I wondered if my video driver was incompatible with some version of CMx2 when I noticed it was rather bright for a night attack. I'd inadvertently toggled to the brightened night setting.

And here's a preview of the new site:

Welp, guess BFC's got to release the game immediately now.
-
Thanks for all the effort in putting this together Bil. This is the first prerelease DAR's I've followed live.
-
This is the first one of these that I've followed live. Very nice job Baneman, and thanks for all the effort.
-
Definitely. What's Bil have left? 1 E8, 2 Jumbos & 2 M36?
-
But if he had taken the BEAST out everyone would have hailed it as a master stroke. . .
It was a true "hold my beer" moment.
-
Merry Christmas All! Thanks to the forumites and BFC for, hell 15.75 years of engaging entertainment. Peace out!
-
Hope I'm not too late to this party (it's been a hell of a year and only now is my life just beginning to get back to "normal"). What I am reading here sounds very good. BFC continues to be an industry leader, for which we may be grateful.
Just in the last few days I've found myself replaying "Task Force Raff" with pleasure and I look forward to the new terrains, organizations, and features this new family offers.

Michael Effin' Emrys. Don't remember what the thread was but those who picked Emrys's return before Bulge won. Welcome Back, Michael.

Heh.... yeah, this should be interesting.

- US Campaign gives the player command of the entire Combat Command Reserve (CCR) of 4th Armored Division from December 23-26, as they strive to bash through the German encirclement of Bastogne from the south. Command Lt. Col. Abrams's tank (yes, THAT Abrams). Battle the 5th Fallschirmjäger Division and 26th Volksgrenadier Division. Be the first to reach the 101st at Bastogne in the historic armored dash through Assenois.
My absolute favorite CMBO mission of all time: Assenois.

I haven't touched it in several years, mainly due to the difficulty of installing addons, game updates, etc., during migration between several computers. It was enjoyable, definitely. I didn't care for the way it handled arty, and the maps were very, very limited. Other than those matters, it was, overall, a very good game. Again, the installation / update system is beyond awful, though.

If you're after something specific, you're going to have to go in after it yourself.
The Computer force-pick is not the strongest element of CM
I must say it's much better than some of the roadblock / wire & halftrack force picks of CMI, though.
Demo scenarios available for full game yet?
