Sorry Pud don't mean to steal your thread but I too have a message for Tom. Tom I sent an e-mail the other day about the lend lease scout car mod for CMBB, I must of downloaded it at least 6 times and was corrupt everytime. Just wondering if you fixed it yet, since I heard nothing back???

No big deal here. Gave me a great idea later last night when my girlfriend ask if I wanted anything for Valentines day. I fired up the PC & opened the thread, and told her I want to come home from work and see her buck naked straddling an MG-42. So she said now I see what you do on the net, she was not very amused. Hey I can always dream can't I.

1280x1024 on 21inch monitor P4 2.1 ghz 384MG of Rambius RD Ram, video cards is a Geforce 4 Ti4600 128meg Ram. CMBB runs smoothly, only time I got some hesitation was when I set up a scenario to see what the max units allowed for CMBB is. CMBO never has ever hestitated. I tried 1600x1200 but CMBB took a performance hit on larger scenarios.

Are you serious? I don't even have DSL or Cable, I am just a poor 56k user and I just DL a 3 meg mod in about 20 mins.

I noticed in the Father of none sound mod that there are wav numbered 00000443 & 00000444, but my wave folder has no such waves with these numbers. I believe the wav files are for the MG42. Can somebody check and see if they have these wav files. Now if you have installed the Father of none sound mod, then you'll probably have over looked the fact. So only tell me if you have not installed this mod.

What about the rulesets, wouldn't they need to be updated to display the new mods. Or are there new rulesets altogether that need to be downloaded? I did notice some rulsets, but it looked like some areas had old rulesets with new mods? [ January 23, 2003, 06:51 PM: Message edited by: Shatter ]

First ya I should probably already know all this but, I never really got into CMMOS. I always picked and choosed my mods for CMBO, now I wanna give CMMOS a try. OK here goes I Downloaded all the CMMOS stuff for ver 4.02 and have been using them here and there. Now that 4.03 is out do I need to download all the mods again and the rulesets or just the rulesets, and of course ver 4.03. Also can I just add the mod zip folders to the CMMOS mods folder or do I have to add each one through the CMMOS program itself, after I have added the rulesets obviuosly? It just takes to long to add each one through the CMMOS programs. Can anybody help me out?

I am trying to setup a friend (who is new to CM)so he has all the CM sites in his favorties. And I need some links to give him. I have most of them, but I need Tom's site and the CM mod catalog.

Are you referring to telephone poles? If so not a bad idea. I fairly sure it is not possible though, there would need to be a 3d model in the game engine for such a doo dad to be displayed.

I went to Best Buy and Comp USA and they freakin want 180 for 2x128 mb (256mb Ram) or 360 for 256x2 (512mb Ram). To me that is insane, what the hell did they make this ram out of gold. So if anybody has a good web site for good prices on RD ram, I am all ears.

I could not agree more. I even sent an e-mail to the individual who wrote the thread and asked how is CMBO or CMBB as Strategy game. In my oppinion CMBO & CMBB need there own classification.
