I get hung up on the "Install License" phase. I enter the license, then it connects to the internet, things seem to be about to happen, and then it hangs forever. I followed all the directions for the elicense fix, no success.

LoneSyrian, I like reading your posts. Try to measure your perspective and make it work here. I wouldn't fault your for leaving these forums, but I'd rather have you engaging in debate. I find the perspectives here "conservative" in the sense that they express a strong old-conservative Realpolitik, Bush Sr. style, which I think is clearly the most intelligent brand of conservative politics. Any insightful debate is appreciated, and you could help, no? EricS

can anybody here explain us why the boxed version selled in france can not run on MAC ???? this is a very strange modification with this game !!!!

I've played this scenario as german against a "real" player that defended more or less as you said . I attacked in a single wave, with everything available, and scored a major victory. I was quite lucky that none of its zooks scored a hit and my main losses on AFV were immo by arty and , when I crossed the bridge, shots on HT by the jeeps MG. my infantry was bled white . If the zooks had scored better, this defense should probably have worked

M18 M18 M18 very fast speed and turret

I have some troubles using chat with V1.1 : After having hit the "tilde" key, the chat window opens, and I can begin typing my text, ONLY if I then first use some letters ! For instance "t" or "s" works, but "i" doesn't work. I didn't noticed all the possible/impossible keys but it is systematically reproducable !! I 've a french keyboard, and a german opponent told me that he had also strange behavior with it's keyboard. Is there something to do about it ? is it a reported bug yet ?

CM 1.05 or 1.1 run normally on my computer EXCEPTED if, after having launched CM, I go to windows or any other application by 'esc' or alt-tab. In this case, when I come back to CM, display becomes crazy : top half of the screen is jammed and sometimes low half is displaying good frames but strange colors. I ahve no other solution but reboot to solve the problem. I have a P200, 64M RAM, ATI rage pro. any solution out there ??? thanks in advance Eric

yesterday night, I led a QB attack against US with infantry supported by 1 STGIII and 2 tigers. the STGIII was shot by a AT gun but Tigers, well protected by my infantry, killed every guns and infantry they were frontaly assaulting. as a last gamble, US player suddenly charged at full speed with 2 M18, on flank of my 2 tigers. M18 were in the plain, my tigers on top of a hill. my tigers rotated to face the M18 , but boom, boom BOTH MY TIGERS WERE SHOT in 30 secs , by frontal hits at 200-300m !!! they didn't have time to even shot a round ! Actually I was about to surrender after that ... But I continued and finnaly won after killing those 2 M18 with PZschreck and 75mm haltrack. morale : Use speed, surprise and flank attacks and Tigers are not unbeatable.
