Poll: which FOW option are you using?

Come on everyone, come out I'm full FOW and proud!

Bastables, you've given me the courage to come out of the full FOW closet. Now it's off to tell my friends and family. As for the banning, I'd imagine that's a forgone conclusion(I could be wrong) and that he wants to go out in a blaze of stupidity. -
They could have been spotted through windows if they weren't spotted actually moving into position. And with accounts of AP rounds penetrating and passing through shermans, I'd imagine having one pass through a small wooden house and getting a kill isn't too far fetched.

It amazes me how quickly a seemingly innocent topic such as this can quickly turn to ****. -

Ignorance, intolerance and petty name calling should have no place on this board. This needs to be locked down now. -

Computer Gaming World RC Awards
saru3000 replied to Ezmartini's topic in Combat Mission Archive #3 (2001)
Okay, this one sorta caught me off guard. You're not just voting for a game of the year. You get to cast five votes in each of the four time periods:1980-85,86-90,91-95,96-2000.There're some pretty tough decisions to make.Almost like having seven kids and being told to get rid of two. The actual act of voting is easy. The hard part is the choices...all those choices. -
Would anyone find this sort of thing useful?...

Let's say you have a battle with three King Tigers. The program finds and uses bmps 3030-3039 for all three.Would it be difficult to write a patch that told the game to also apply any bmps that had the 3030-3039 base. For example, if you took a second KT mod and renamed the bmps 3030-01,3031-01,3032-01 and so on,this alternate set would then be used for one of the KTs.And if for the third KT you wanted to use the default set but with a turret that had different unit markings you would just add the extension to the turret bmp (3032-2).Or it could made to access the alternates randomly.Whichever way is easiest. Obviously, you'd be able to add extensions to any of the bitmaps. So is this something that would be relatively easy to do in a patch or would it require some major work on the game engine?
