  2. Yes After using the high resolution skies, i think i use them for all battles. I will wait for modded high res skies WITH mountains Monty

Ok, i did the same with the CMBB high res. dawn skies: Default skie with mountains: High res. skie without mountains: Now we need a modder who make the hig res skies also WITH mountains,so we can choose which we want to use.   4. MDA, i downloaded your CMAK demo gridded terrain mod, but for the full CMAK its not ok. The full CMAK have much more desert tiles,so we are missing some tiles. Could you add the missing ones, and upload a updated version please ?? Monty

Lets start with a picture which say more than a thousand words: What i did was the following: For this test i used the CMBB high resolution clear day skies made by "Undaunted" You can download it and the other high res skie mods ( dawn, dusk etc) from the Combat Mission Mod Database. Beware: Back up the default skie files before you copy the new high res. skie files into the CMAK Bmp folder !! I am planning to use "batchfiles" to switch with one mouseclick between the default skies WITH mountains and the high res. skies WITHOUT mountains and back. The high res. skies have small hills in the distace, the hills are a bit to dark for the desert battles i think, but it can be altered easily ( i think, i am NO modder at all ). Any comments ? Monty
  6. Thanks Pud, i only miss the briefings in the scenario. I dont have CMBO on my HD, so i cant read the original briefings. Could you add them and did you change anything in this scenario compared with the original ? I see exit zone's on both sides, is that right? Monty

  11. I can login ok. Sofar i spotted one bug in the CMAK section. I see the text "SEARCH CMBB" in stead of "SEARCH CMAK" I will now wait for some more CMAK mods Monty

  14. That is the "country marker" of Italian units. On that place an Italian unit was recently, its now hiding or had moved out of LOS. Its like the small German cross. Monty

  16. I also discovered the small maps made with the QB generator. Yesterday, i made a 2km x 2km map with the scenario editor and used it for a QB I was in the mood to kill some tanks with the 88 FLAK and the Tiger. I had 2x 88 FLAK and 2 Tigers (medium) At 1600 meters they engaged British tanks, but they did a POOR job in hitting them, i was a bit disappointed. ( 1 hit in 4 turns blazing away ) Ok,i thought, i throw in elite flak/tigers. But still, they performed "bad" ( 2 hits in 4 turns, they had plenty of targets btw ) I always thought 88 flak and tigers were used on this distances with good result. Should i have waited till the enemy tanks were closer? But then the flak guns were knocked out allready i think. Monty
  17. Hi Welcome I'll advice you to ask in the CMBB forum if somebody can send you the CMBB manual as a .pdf file. The CMAK manual is indeed very basic. I myself have only the Battlefront CMBB version manual which is a booklike manual. The European version of CMBB has a .pdf file on the CD as manual. Monty
  18. Just did a quick test. One medium Humber scout car is driving towards a medium 75mm PAK gun(no shells available offcourse), shooting with the 2 mg's In the second turn the gun crew is panicking, in the third turn the crew is routed and is running away, they are all shot in the back.... Seems pretty realistic to me. Monty
  19. Imagine this: You have your machinegun and gun crews hiding in a bunker at turn 1. Turn 1 : Prep arty barrage starts falling. Turn 4 : You give order to crews to man the mg's and guns. Turn 7 : Enemy units are advancing and your mg's and guns (maybe a gun is knocked out dut to mechanical failure offcourse) can engage them. That would be nice.... Monty

You can: Design your own scenario and choose your name for a unit Or...open an existing scenario and ( if the scenario is not protected for changing) change one of the names in the scenario editor. btw When i start a new battle, i always choose one of the units, and think: "I am that unit commander" It give another flavour to the battle that way Monty Monty
