I'd like to take the time to thank all of you for explaining the world, time and other theories I've been hearing about lately. I will say that I'm glad that CM has such a world wide appeal. As far as the theories about the world being round and time zones I am stunned at these ideas. I haven't seen time move yet for one. And the world can't be round because in CM it has hills but is defiantly flat! I'm sure that if the world was round the expert designers of CM would have incorporated that into the game. Also as far as time moving, hah! It's still August 23 2000. If time moved then I couldn't still be playing CM because I would have had to go to work by now. So I'm glad that I could dispel these rumors for you so all can continue playing CM without distractions of these "scientific" ideas. ------------------ "Free your mind!"

B-17 Bomber!!! Gotta stay in WWII mode. Besides it's gonna be a wonderful display of gaming magic.. Or It's Gonna Rock! Yeah! Everyone with half a brain hates Jar-Jar. I almost died of agony in the theater with that goof ball running around. Then they filled the screen with 'em. UGH! Anyway I'm glad to see that the love intrest between Anakin and Amidala came up earlier in the post. I was suprised to see that some parent group wasn't screaming about pedophilia. She's like how old? Hell Anakin isn't even old enough to get those feelings yet. You must have read me wrong. The game is simply awesome in its self, yet one of the best features is the mods. Many people have put a whole lot of hours into making mods for this game and for them, thats probably one of the best parts. For me it adds something new every once and awhile to keep my interest peaked. But please, I know she's a great game standing on her own. ------------------ "Free your mind!"

Yikes. I thought that the game immersed me enough now this. Gee wiz Batman, if they do that we'll start dreaming in CM 3D. Thanks to you people and your total gaming experience ideas I'm beginning to lose grasps at reality. Where's my Prozac? ------------------ "Free your mind!"

I think that porting to console would be bad news. One of the greatest aspects of this game is the mods. Say it again MODS. BTS released an excellent game, don't get me wrong, but the mods make it simply amazing. Even with consoles having web access mod management would be a programming nightmare on the stripped down version of Windows begin designed for the X-Box. I'm scared of the X-Box myself. Bill hasn't released a non-buggy program on the first swing yet. Win98 2nd Ed. still has problems and ME isn't without error. Now imagine that embedded into your new console system! That's my $1.00 worth. ------------------ "Free your mind!"

Just sitting here thinking about the internet patch. Oh how I can't wait. I think I'm going to cry when it's released..... Anyhow, anyone out there want to do a PBEM with me. I tried with a friend of mine when I had the demo and it didn't work out to well but I'm guessing the final version is much better. He didn't buy the game because, well actually there is no excuse, he's just a dork! A big dork! Come to think of it, maybe he's not my friend anymore......heehheheheheh. Just kidding Kent, BUT FOR GODS SAKE MAN BUY THIS GAME!!! sorry got carried away, let me know about the PBEM thing.

Yeah, like the whole britney thing would happen. hehe. anyhow if you don't buy this game from BTS I'm sure that you won't be able to get into heaven. God told me so last night through my monitor while playing my 40th straight hour of CM. Seriously, you won't be disappointed.

AHHHHHHH stop the presses gentleman. I hope you got it working with all that hoopla but it seems a bit extreme to trash windows and start from scratch. I know some will argue but stay away from Norton or McAffee fixer programs, they not only bog a system down with unneeded junk but almost everything in the programs are already in with Win98 under system info/tools. The USB tools for the joystick obviously conflict. Ur probably in deep now already so go with some of the advice about reinstalling u got from the others but don't drop the $40 bucks for Norton. Weird with the smoke. Never had it happen myself. I agree with some of the other replies though. Watch for other tanks first, then worry about infantry. German armor is dangerous enough without having your tanks chasing a few crew members. ------------------ "Free your mind!"

I happened to buy this little CD from a company I never heard of before about a month ago. I played it for awhile and thought, "I've seen better graphics then this!" I played a little more and said "Sherman Tanks are the worst thing ever made, they couldn't shoot a hole through a paper bag!" My frustrations grew. My men died on the battlefield. Lives were lost, equipment destroyed and my mouse took a short flight into the wall (it's okay, just a little shaken). Now a month later I've lost 20 lbs. , lost my job, my wife used to live with me, I think?, and started speaking in short sentences and grunts. Once again while I waited for another battle to load my mind wandered for a bit and I had this thought. "This is the best game I ever played." Thanks BATTLEFRONT you have restored my faith in true gaming and the world is better for it. Now if you'll excuse me I'll go take a shower, it's getting hard to breathe in here. ------------------ "Free your mind!"
