Klink, Cool. I live around the corner from Highland. If you give me a wish list, I'll make the cd. We can meet in Davis Sq, get a brewski, and hand-off the goods.

Klink, I have got a cd burner and wicked good access. And I live in Somerville. Tell me what you want and where to get it, and I'll burn you a cd. It'll just cost you the price of the cd, and you'll have to come get it. B

I'm sorry Mord, but if he gets the 1.1 patch, then he won't need the 1.05 patch, right? -

Could anyone think of a better stocking stuffer? http://www.avault.com/featured/holidayguide/index.asp?p=pc-strategy

Over the long holiday weekend, I’ll have plenty of time to kill. Looking for PBEM opponents for double-blind scenarios and QBs who can play a high number of turns from Wednesday evening until Sunday evening. I am in the EST Time Zone (Boston, MA), if that makes a difference.
-
Hmmm, I've had luck with just deleting all movement commands and waiting. During the following turn, there is usually a grinding noise, and the vehicle has lost its "bogged" status. While this practice occasionally immobilizes the vehicle, I think it's more successful than trying to move it out.

Poor CM ranking at Mac Game DB

We just put CM into the top 20. Let's get it into the top 5 (where it belongs) -
It's not just one bullet. It's a round of firing.

Maybe he was busy reading a letter from home. Dear Helmut, I hope you don't receive this at a bad time, but I've been sleeping with the MilkMan. He's not a great lover, but I get a free bottle of cream each morning. Don't let this distract you. I don't want you to fail to spot any AFVs in your LOS or misidentify any sound contacts. Love, Gert PS: Gunter, the MailMan, says "Hi"

1. Measure the distance in meters that your vehicle has traveled. 2. Record the number of seconds that pass. 3. Divide the number of meters by the number of seconds. 4. Multiply by 3.6 and you'll get your speed in kph. Nyuk nyuk

Does the positioning of your AA make a difference in CM? -
...it invades your brain! Last night I played until my eyes were burning. And then on the way to work this morning, I was admiring the foliage and thinking to myself, "Gee these trees look so real!" Has anyone else plotted way-points for themselves around their home?

Just got the game myself! If there are any of the scenarios you haven't played yet, send me a turn. I want to play some that are new to both opponents. buckshyesh@hotmail.com

Teddy Roosevelt's "Naval War of 1812" was a very interesting read. If was full of details re. tactics and the experiences of men on those ships.
-
Same here! And I'm looking for PBEM opponents on the Demo. Send a setup to buckshyesh@hotmail.com. Either side, either scenario.
-
Thanks for getting back to me. I've sent an email to my opponent asking if he is using the full version or an earlier demo. We'll see.
-
I just downloaded the Demo last week and I've got a problem. Here's what happened: 1 My opponent sent a setup file to me. 2 I saved it to my PBEM folder. 3 I started the game 4 I selected "Join Multiplayer" then "Load Email" 5 Then I selected his file and clicked "Open" 6 Then nothing... BTW I did a setup and sent it to him and he was able to open my files in the normal manner. But then when he sent that file to me, I got the same result. Any suggestions?
