No its not.
It would be a analogy if i had to pay weekly to stay in your house and you would serve me the same meal 3 times a day for weeks and i start complaining.
Seriously yes this is BFC's forum but they are a company selling a product, i paid then most like over 150$ since 2007 so yes i think i have aright to critic their products.
Ok so I was thinking on how best to use an analogy to explain what you are perceived as doing and how it might come across to English native speakers...
So let’s think as BF as a fantastic place to eat. Call it a great steak house (sorry for any Veggies out there). They serve Steak and do it in different styles. It is the best Steak house in town if not the world and has won awards for the different steak meals it cooks up.
Now attached to the dining area is the lobby or bar where people hang out and drink and wait for their meal. People who come into that area are there because they know how good the food is and that they are waiting for the next meal. The bar is owned and paid for by BF.
So into the bar comes someone who has had a good meal in the past and enjoyed it but now before trying the next meal (and with no intention of buying the next meal) they start saying how bad the next meal (new menu item) will be and that how disappointed they are with the planned new item on the menu. They are of course welcome to their opinion, but would you really rock up to the place in front of other customers and start pissing all over the floor saying how poor and bad the next item was?
You are not the chef, you don’t own the place and you feel you have the right to piss all over the floor just because you have eaten there before?
Yes you are a critic but critics have their own places to post reviews and that is not in the forum (bar) of the restaurant.
Constructive feedback is always welcome, and if you would change your tone and language you will sound less of a pissed drunk.
If people continue as "drunks" at what point would you think the owners would say time to leave?
Just my 2p on it and I hope it gives you some insight as to why some people are giving you a hard time.
Happy Christmas
(Now I will go back to drinking in the bar waiting for the new menu item to be open to consume...)

Hmmm I wish I could agree but I think Bil has this sorted the town is a distraction and of no worth, Baneman can have it he still needs to cross open ground and this battle will be won by the tank duels...
-
On tenterhooks waiting for next installment....
How will that Panther fair...
-
Bootie thanks for these, I am enjoying the show and if I may offer some advice is just take it a bit slower and only move up once you have done the recon.
-
Hmmm in the AAR it already has shown vehicles can bog and just having them on the map adds to the immersion.
Bahhhh humbug
or I would rather shout Kaizen....
-
Ahhh OK sorry missed that re mortars.
Streams add an important terrain type, so glad they have been added.
-
Sorry missed onboard mortars? Can you explain what I have missed?
I love the streams, superb addition.

The soldier looks like he has been a very naughty boy and told to sit on the naughty step...
Nice to be able to sit on a Tiger, at Bovie you would be walked off site if you were caught doing that as a normal punter...
-
You can start to see the FOW and the fear of the unknown working it's dark arts on Baneman....
-
Latest turn from Bil you have to admire his timing and sense for when to pull back.
He will have upset Baneman and slowed him down just with the loss of that 1/2 track.
Superb job.
It will be interesting to see how long it takes for Baneman to work out the houses on his left flank are empty. I guess he will be fearing ambush and will take some time to exploit that flank....
-
Let's hope the bogging monster deal's his evils equally to Bil and Baneman.
C3K I think you have broadly described the flow of the game to come....
Womble I think for us it will be a lesson on how to use Jeeps for recon, but if Baneman can deprive Bil of his Jeeps he has a slight chance....
BTW i see the Bog monster has struck....
-
Hi Bil out of interest what would you have fielded as the Germans? What is your force to defeat what you have?
-
i think he is far from being aware how little armour banam brought into the battle.
Yet...
Like many others here I don't think Bil will have too much trouble winning this, I just hope there is some decent action rather than a bogged break down....

Everyone's a critic
As soon as I've finished deploying, I will post pictures (possibly even with arrows).
Must say I'm surprised at the lack of suggestion posts (not suggestive posts, BLSTK is over in the CMFI forum ).
I expected more "do this", "do that" posts- perhaps we've matured
Hi, in response i lurk and watch these games but rarely offer advice as I don't want to skew the game as I read both threads and I try to stay neutral. If however you suggest approaches and ask God comments then you might find people will offer advice. So if you Said I am thinking of X or Y... That might gather advice...

Cheers Jon I wanted to spend some money for Christmas, so hope it is sorted soon...
-
OK so I was hoping to get this before Christmas, what are my chances?
-
Re AT guns i guess it all depends on how easily vehicles bog, but I guess worse case you end up stuck where as AT gun is unlikely to be able to redeploy,..
Looking Forward to seeing how snow effects mobility.

Just stumbled onto this new forum, what a great map.....
Good hunting Bil....
(Lurk mode engaged....)

Thanks for the continued AAR, lurking in back watching this....

Because it is very very good.

I am hoping BFS will know root cause and undertake an impact analysis on affected campaigns, that or we have to flag suspected broken ones. I have flagged another campaign broken but no report on it being fixed? As I am travelling I am hoping it will be fixed soon.
-
BFS should know what root cause was, nothing been noted so who knows if it affected stand alone scenarios?
-
No, I am away from PC at moment doing some travelling and using a nexus to post. I only bumped this thread to try and prove my point that it was not just one campaign afflicted by the bug. I had assumed that the BFS squad would work out root cause and then do impact assessment on all campaigns? That could of course be what they are doing?
When I get back, and if nothing has been updated I will pursue further....
But as I am not playing at moment I am not too bothered, and even when I do get back plenty of other scenarios to keep me occupied....
New Gameplay features ?

My bigger fear is that we are not getting any younger and I am guessing Steve and Charles will want to exit the game at some stage, so I am hoping they can cook up a big finale before they head for the hills....
I also hope I am around long enough to see it....
In the meantime I will keep feeding them (the cooks and maitre D and bottlewashers) and enjoying each day as much as I can (as you never know what's around the corner...)
