I take it our game ended. Did you see how green my attacking troops were? Even the platoon and company HQ units were mainly green. Trying to wade through the minefields and bunkers, with a constant pounding from your artillery, was just too much for them. I guess we never did take out that AT gun that was making life so exciting and short for my tanks. I had one green engineer squad next to a minefield for three or four turns. They made no effort to do anything about the mines. Finally in disgust I targetted the minefield, and they dutifully tossed their satchel charges and fired almost all of their ammunition, all to no effect. GRRRRRRRRRR!!! :eek: :mad: :mad: :mad: Revenge? You betcha! I'll find a scenario in the next day or so. Anyone know if the master of disaster rune has any new ones? His battles are always impossible for both sides, which I like. M_t_w, any chance you'll be sending a new turn any time soon? I know you want your Tiger to keep blasting away at that infantry unit it spotted outside of the buildings. Anyone else available for a setup for CMAK or CMBB? With Dominions 2 on hold, Fiefdom crashed, and my only remaining PBEM with mike_the_wino, I'm experiencing the symptoms of game withdrawal. I may actually have to try to get some work done around the house!! :eek: :eek: </font>

I have 9.0c already, but it was installed before I updated the vid driver. Do you remember if you upgraded your video driver before you started seeing the problem?

I agree with it being a video driver problem. I'm actually using nVidia's beta, as their 'official' crashed my OS with one program (nVidia fixed it for the beta). I have a feeling there is a problem of a much lesser degree with nVidia's driver and CMAK, not a CMAK problem per se. I know nVidia fixed the opacity problem I was seeing when playing CMAK, so maybe the fix has changed something else. This time was the first time I've ever seen an error like this one on my machine. I sent the error report off to MS when asked, so maybe they'll forward it to BFC and nVidia. At least that's how I was told it works.

I just recieved that error playing a PBEM game. It occured when I was rotating around the battle field while viewing the map after the game ended. In addition, I got the address the error occured at as 3f800000. NEVER had this happen before. Two things on my machine changed - new nVidia driver, and the CMAK patch.

My last turn wasn't an order move. That's why I didn't go on and convert it myself. I want to make sure m_t_w converts it, or sends it back to me in version 1.01 so I can do the conversion. On my antique computer, I don't think there is room for another copy of CMAK on the hard drive. I can have one version or the other, but not both. </font>
