  1. I would like to get ahold of all conversion scenarios from CMBO to CMAK. Does anyone know which ones have been done and where I can get them at? Thanks!
  2. I would like to design some new scenarios for CMAK, and yet am not sure where to start. If anyone could link me to a previous thread or give me some general guidelines I would greatly appreciate it. You know; what is a good ratio of points for attacker vs defender, any map guidelines, what kind of troops to use, etc. Thanks in advance!
  3. I recently came across a site with an incredible amount of scenarios organized by name. They had numerous ratings by different people, and in the upper left hand corner of the website frame was this picture of a King Tiger. All of a sudden, I can't find this site again - any help, please? Thanks!
  4. Sorry... posted this in the wrong forum - technical help. Anyway... whatdaya think? I'm attacking a pillbox in Valley of Trouble 2, and I've got a Sherman 105, one or two regular Shermans, and a Jumbo, all targeting it. The Pillbox didn't get many shots off, because it kept switching between targets. It'd be about to shoot at one, and then all of a sudden it'd target another one. Might want to fix this for CM2. 6. Thanks, y'all! (Please keep posting; this is just an acknowledgment. )
  7. Could someone please give me a web address for a good Jagdtiger or King Tiger Scen? Anyone got a good Jagdtiger mod (winter or no?) Do appreciate it! P.S. I've heard there's a good scenario called Valley of Trouble 2... Any websites on that?
  8. Favorite view levels: I always keep my camera on 4; gives a nice 3D feel for the battlefield. 1 I also use alot to find out exactly what's going on. 5 plots good moves on slopes and also gives you a better feel for things distance-wise. Lastly, 8 is great for finding what enemy units have appeared in the last turn (i.e. go to 8 and then change unit sizes to +4). The Major
  9. As always, give me a little time to look into this (i.e., probably on the weekend.) Thank you SO much for all your help! Also, I can't find the "Fog Table Emulation" switch; where is it? Thank you again!
  10. My video driver is M2GFX.DRV and the DirectX version is 6.1. My OS is Windows 95. Thanks for the help. [ 06-09-2001: Message edited by: Major Belles ]
  11. Wow... Thanks! Give me a little bit to digest all that.
  12. Wow... You're getting pretty technical. I'm not quite sure; I think I could find out but it'll take a while; if you wonder why you don't have a response, that's why. Thanks! The Major
  13. I just (finally) got CM, and installed it. My screen is 1024/768, but that size wasn't available on CM. I went to 800 by 600, which worked fine until I started a battle, when almost the whole screen was white except for the words, and the unit bases, which were red. Right now I'm working with the last option (I think it's 640/480), but then I can't read the unit information, and the graphics are somewhat grainy. I'd like to be able to use the 800/600; what's the matter?
  14. VERY sorry about the ASP OTR post; I didn't have a chance to remove the post; I've been gone all day. Well, now, all I can say is "GET THOSE PIRATES!" The Major
  15. There's been alot of talk about it in the Air Combat forum, so I assumed it's legal; if it's not, obviously this should be locked up; very sorry if I did anything wrong . The Major P.S. what's abandonware?
  16. I'm sure, all you CM fans, that as you log on to check out the CM forum you cast a passing glance at the BTS Tactical Air Combat games area and wonder what it's all about. Well, here's your chance to find out. At the site listed below are the COMPLETE, ABSOLUTELY NOT A DEMO, FULL (and completely free) versions of the BTS games Achtung Spitfire! (ASP), Over the Reich (OTR), and Flight Commander 2 (FC2) available for download. ASP simulates the European air war from 1939 - 42; covering the invasion of France, the Battle of Britain, and the post Battle of Britain Lull. It's sister game OTR (the older of the 2 games; using exactly the same system and graphics) covers the air war from 1942 - 45, and includes some experimental German airplanes that never flew to boot. FC2 isn't quite as nice (my personal opinion), but is still ALOT of fun; and covers air combat in the Jet Age from 1946 onward. All these games are not flight simulators, but rather look at air combat from the level of multiple planes. They do not just include the major participants, but have every airplane you've heard of (and alot you haven't.) That's all the pep talk ; the site is listed below. It's free, so check it out; in alot of respects it's not as detailed or as addictive as CM, but it has the quality to be able to be played in a few minutes to a few hours, depending on the length of the scenario you choose. Thanks for the great games, BTS! The Major [ 06-06-2001: Message edited by: Madmatt ]
  17. Wow! I didn't know the Germans secretly sided with the Russians during the war. Just goes to show you what you can learn by sticking around the forum . *Sigh......*
