1. Samhain, The dark tree bases for snow is 850-855. You can copy over the ones from MDMP2 or Gunslinger Terrain-V1.zip file. This will knock out that yellow tainted snow. ------------------ Garry Kump Kump's CM Outpost
2. LuckyStrike, Sent you e-mail on alternate place you can send. Rex_Bellator, The current one I have is from Gunslinger, the other's are still trying to figure out how to do it. If you got the bright green to horizon, recommend you install Gunslinger mod, then the other grass mods on top of Gunslinger. That will tone the horizon thing down. PawBroon, I'll get this off to Marco and find out what is going on. ------------------ Garry Kump Kump's CM Outpost
3. 10 Meg!!! Ouch! I'll give it a try and see what happens. I do like Old Dog's colors and how the higher elevations have the browner colors. Time to check it out... ------------------ Garry Kump Kump's CM Outpost

5. I looked very carefully and this is what I discovered. GRIDDED SNOW ISSUE: Gridded snow is from Gunslinger, bmp's 1470-1489 (hi-res) The snow by MDMP 2 and Gunslinger, where I can't tell any difference, is 800-819 (lo-res). You can DELETE the 1470-1489 bmp's to have the game switch to the MDMP2 snow 800-819. OR you can copy from the CD to replace 1470-1489. Wonder why MDMP2 only replace the low memory card bmp's? DARK SNOW TREE BASE MDMP2 and Gunslinger have the same snow tree bases. Its a dark snow to get rid of the original p@$$ color snow tree bases. Its an easy thing to lighten these up but keep them identifiable from the rest of the snow. I could do this and make it available pretty quick, but you may want to wait for DD's new mod which should be out soon. ------------------ Garry Kump Kump's CM Outpost [This message has been edited by kump (edited 11-19-2000).]
6. russellmz, Thanks for pointing it out. Checked and stupid path incorrect, works fine for me but no one else. Doh! Its fixed. Try it again. ------------------ Garry Kump Kump's CM Outpost
7. Updates to my site... 1) Marco Bergman has updated the British Camouflaged Firefly/Sherman IIa to version 1.1 and has supplied a fix for those who want to patch version 1.0 so they don't have to wait for a long download. 2) A new author mod section with a set of comparison pages for Fernando J. Carrera Buil. You know him, you've got some of his mods. Comparisons and descriptions for the exceptional mods he has done. 3) DesertFox subdued grass, wheat, and hedge mods described and compared. 4) Old Dog subdued velvet grass mod with transparent tree base mod described and compared. You can find it at the page of interest... Marco's Camo Firefly Fix Fernando's Unit Mod Author Page Miscellaneous Terrain Mods (DesertFox and Old Dog subdued mods) Regards,
8. Well, I couldn't help but look. I was shocked. The art work is exceptional and the hamster expressions fit the mood. I was dying from the laughter. Now you just need to update the bmp's used in the game for human faces to that of hamster faces. May be a little too difficult. I don't think the CM engine takes whiskers into account. Great mod. ------------------ Garry Kump Kump's CM Outpost
9. Marco's updated M4/M4A3/M4(105) Shermans (Hi-Res) for US and Free French is available. Here's a shot... If you have version 1, you can just grab the update, which only has the new riveted mantlet, turret top, hull rear, and new batch files. Go grab it at Marco Bergman's Unit Mod Page ------------------ Garry Kump Kump's CM Outpost [This message has been edited by kump (edited 11-16-2000).]
10. Okay, no description/comparison page done, too early. But there is now an "Early Bird" page for those who want the mod ASAP without waiting for comparison shots. A temp location to be moved when the real page is done. Find it at... Early Bird Mod Page Regards, ------------------ Garry Kump Kump's CM Outpost [This message has been edited by kump (edited 11-15-2000).]
11. Creating new forum post. Early Bird page is ready with this mod for download. ------------------ Garry Kump Kump's CM Outpost
12. Ooops (kump wipes shame from his face). I meant Old Dog, not Mad Dog
13. Oh! You fooled me.
quote:
Matts name even I can spell that!

You must have meant Matt's, in reference to his real name. I know what you really meant. I'm just having some stupid fun. I'm waiting for Mad Dog's mod to upload, so got time on my hands. This kind of idleness causes me brain lapse
14. Rob/1, that is MadMatt, not Matts. I couldn't help it! [This message has been edited by kump (edited 11-14-2000).]
15. Poor Old Dog, could be sending e-mail all night! I want to do a comparison and full review of this, but some may not be able to wait for the pages (lots of other projects going on as well). I'll do a quick page tonight with links for people to download before the proper comparison pages are done. I'll call it "Works in progress, but here's the mod", or the "Early Bird Special" page. Eventually, all these terrain mods will be moved to Tom's FTP server, because I don't have the space for long term posting (even my own). Just got the mod, but I need to get home to do that page and links. I'll have the mod available this evening for you download hounds. ------------------ Garry Kump Kump's CM Outpost
16. NEC XP21 and nothing else will do from now on. With a V5500 and FSAAx4, its a must. What pixels? More important, its got to be a high refresh rate at high resolutions that delivers good color. In other words, its going to cost you. This thing about having to move your eyes being annoying. What? Is it better to be viewing your virtual world through a small tube? I think we move our eyes in the real world, right? And you can back off on a larger screen and see more realistate without squinting or moving your eyes if you want to. Besides, I like moving my eyes around a bit. Keeps them from sticking in one position due to being stationary for too long and then having your friends call you "zombie eyes". 17. Looks like more comparisons to be made once again! Looking forward to camera walking in this environment and getting a in your face view. Downloading now... ------------------ Garry Kump Kump's CM Outpost
18. I settle in on Sunday morning starting up my first CM game in two weeks and complete one turn and DOH! I remember Headcount had sent me his mod to add doors and windows to Magua's building mod. Folks wanted that! Stop the playing, get those pages done.. With Magua's blessing, Headcount has provided you folks with varied doors and windows for Magua buildings. Here is a sample of Headcount's mod... Go get it at... Magua's Terrain Mod Page with Headcount's Doors/Windows Now back to turn two of that CM game... ------------------ Garry Kump Kump's CM Outpost [This message has been edited by kump (edited 11-12-2000).]
19. OGSF, The trees originally come with MDMP 1 from CMHQ. The ones I'm using is from Gunslinger mod which took these trees and subdued them. You can find the gunslinger mod and see if you like the subdued by checking out my site's terrain mod page and jumping to gunslinger's mods. There you will find an FTP link where you can down load them and give them a try. Shortcut would be... Gunslinger Terrain Mod Page Regards, ------------------ Garry Kump Kump's CM Outpost

Marco Bergman's Armor Page Enjoy... ------------------ Garry Kump Kump's CM Outpost
21. You do know who Gordon Molek is, don't you? Here is one of his CM mods... Jog your memory? Go see his new armor page and download any of his mods you may have missed... 22. Okay, that is not the lo-res. I was lazy and I wanted to show that shot again But the lo-res mods of Magua's half-tracks didn't turn out bad at all. The winter treatment still looks great. If you held off getting the Magua Half-Track mods because you didn't want hi-res, you can now enjoy these pearls in lo-res. Magua's Armor Mod Page ------------------ Garry Kump Kump's CM Outpost [This message has been edited by kump (edited 11-10-2000).]
23. Hey Gordon, Don't be modest. You forgot to add Gordon Molek to that list. Though I'm a hi-res addict, I still have all your mods installed. All the ones you did are still my favorites, lo-res and all. Gordon Molek page still under construction. Just keep getting interrupted by the new stuff. Should be done soon. ------------------ Garry Kump Kump's CM Outpost

25. Pvt. Ryan, Yea, that winter effect Magua can do is amazing. I don't think Magua was too sure of it at first, but I went nuts over it. I couldn't stop praising the work. I just had to get this out immediately for the CM community to get their hands on it. Magua really busted his buns to get this out after we pulled the earlier ones. I hope everyone enjoys it as much as I. He definitely has the touch. ------------------ Garry Kump Kump's CM Outpost
